You know something, it happened today. It's happened many times over the years I've followed this beast of a club. The team is announced and I think shit, we're gonna get smashed. The opposition is pomping around, Billy bignuts, the pundits write us off (usually biased fuckers) Then the players you think aren't quite good enough blow the opposition away with sheer determination. Step forward Ashley Young. The young lad Scott Mcfuckmeimshitatspellingatthistimeafterbeatingthescousefuckerstominay. Eric Bailly stepping right back into the mix. I was happy to see Jessie coming on too. Have you ever seen Gerrard win the league...?!!!!!! This. But with more swearing

People that moan about having Jose as a manager. Could be worse, could have a manager that gets to finals that he can't win. Shame, I liked him before he caught that deludemolitus.

Don't know how anyone can be unhappy about anything following that.
No point pretending otherwise, Liverpool are a fine attacking unit. They can pull you apart if you let them. But defensively they are shit. it's just getting at that back 4 because they press the shit out of you when you have the ball. So you have to be tight at the back, give them no space at all, and bypass their press when you get it.
Mourinho did that perfectly. Yes it was route one. So what, who gives the 1st notion of a shit. He knew their weak link and exploited it. That's what he's here to do, not play pretty football.
Said it before, I don't buy this obsession some have with playing "The United way". The United way is winning trophies and being the best. Shit no mark clubs like Spurs and West Ham have this fabled "way" that they have to play by. The reason being that they win fuck all every season, so at least they have an excuse, that it's about more than winning for them, they don't really care as long as they are playing the right way. The biggest clubs just care about getting to finals, being top of the league, delivering trophies. If Mourinho can do that playing the way he does, them bring it the fuck on.
God, if Mata could have realised just how much time he had and not tried the spectacular, we'd have been 3-0 up with time in the 1st half still to play. But Liverpool were the better team and deserved more? Bollocks. They had the ball because we let them, not because we couldn't get it off them.
Credit to Smalling, Young, Bailly (bar the fuck up) and Lukaku. All immense today. And huge credit to Rash and McTominay, two young local lads (but, but Jose hates youth?) who were fantastic.
13 points from a possible 24 in the big games this season (but, but Jose has lost it, his record against his rivals is shit?). Fantastic.

Fantastic. I didn't become a fan because of the United way, I never considered the club to have a way. It's used as a stick to beat the team with by some fans who think football started after we won the league in 92 and never watched any of the shite in between including some under Fergie. Does any team actively not go against trying to play entertaining football? It's the kind of shite West Ham fans come out with. It's small time romantic bollocks imo. I don't want to be associated with that kind of crap. I got into watching football after Mexico 86 and it was Bryan Robson that made me choose United over City, nothing else really apart from some of my relatives who were regulars at United telling me that City were miserable shite.

I just as traveling so missed most of the 2nd half. Which was probably no bad thing! The way the media built up the scouse, you’d have thought we were playing Utd 08 or Barca 11. They’re a yellow pack version of Keegan’s Newcastle. The decent sides in the Champions League will make shite of them. We’re a bit of a curate’s egg of a side. We can look great and then awful in the space of an hour. I think we ultimately lack world class quality in a creative sense but there is a real fighting spirit in the side. Today set us up for a very important week. I know right. The media describes those trio as if they are unstoppable goal scoring trophy winning machines. And as if we will get smashed easily. Glad the result spoke itself and the way we let them hold the ball without actually did anything

It's a pity we gave them an own goal because it made them look better than was justified.

It's really good to see us open up a bit of a gap now in 2nd place. It's been an excellent week from us. We could've conceivably been down in 4th place if we hadn't shown the fantastic spirit in those 2 comeback victories. As well as outfoxing those scouse fucks yesterday.
We may not have played vintage football for the most part (although yesterday's first half was excellent) but we've shown that this side has grown a backbone at least. It's also massively improved Jose's record against the top 6.
Lets hope we keep the good feeling going and beat Sevilla on Tuesday.

cant believe how good that was, form shitting myself before the game and throughout the game to the pure buzz all weekend after it.
loved the formation, great to see us using 4-4-2. Pace down one side and brains/creativity down the other. reminiscent to the old days and I hope we carry on with it. some of Mata's movement was untouchable and their defence didn't have a clue how to deal with it. gutted Matas scissor kick didn't go in that would have been the cherry on top. that could have made us win the game about 5-0.
McT is top drawer, he done everything single thing right. for a lad his age he was composed on the ball and under pressure and broke the play up very well . one of the MOM shouts once again. big game player. what do we do with pogba now ? because we looked very well balanced without him and Scott is showing pogba how to actually defend and track properly.
Young started slow and I was thinking what is going on, but he got into the game and pure bossed Salah. ok Salah had bit of a penalty shout, but if you give that then you will be giving 2 a game at least. defo not a pen.
Big Rom was brilliant again and loving his passion and desire to do well for this club, also looks like he has a bit more pace than he did earlier on in the season too. works his socks off and the goals will come in the big games. if they don't and he keeps getting assists, then fine by me.
I was dreading it seeing bailly starting cos hes such a loose cannon. but he was immense, properly ruthless. loves the shithousery and getting stuck in. was gutted to see him score an OG and was very unlucky. hope he hasn't injured himself and good on him for carrying on if so.
sanchez needs to figure his game out and get it back to basics. hes driving me mad the amount he loses the ball. he give the ball away and they could have scored at the very end. I wanna see him pass the ball quicker and start shooting but hitting the target again. he does work bloody hard though and that's what I like to see first.
