Typical scouse. For fucks sake, you don't spit at people and you don't take teenagers that serious especially when you are the adult.
As for sacking, that would be the sensible thing to do, or at least a suspension. When you are a public figure, you must maintain your image off work as well.

Not to mention they've set a precedent by sacking people in the past for perceived bad behaviour. It will be a shame because he really is a great pundit but he shouldn't have been so dumb. They'll need to find a replacement who isn't Thierry Henry though, that's for sure. I thought Frank Lampard was good on MOTD. I don't think he'll be sacked though - as bad as it is, I don't think it's on the same level as the sexism stuff from a PR point of view.

What ban do players get if they spit at each other? Horrible what carragher did but not sure if it deserves him to loose his job tho It doesn’t matter though, hes no longer a footballer, so Sky can do whatever they want to him. They fired Keys and Gray for being cunts (and they were far more important to them) and you’d imagine Carragher will follow suit. Footballers dont have to be good role models, thats not part of the deal. Sky however, are entitled to excercise any kind of moral clause they want. He’s extraordinarily well paid by them and should have known not to behave like a dirty scrote.

Jermain Jenas has been good recently but I think he might be a BT pundit now ? also thought Frank Lampard was decent.
but I would absolutely hate John Terry to be pundit.

Edit: Looks like he has been benched for tonight anyway. And dropped from his role for our game on Tuesday.

I have found Jenas to be utterly mediocre . Brings nothing of interest to the table and usually piggybacks off of points made by the other pundits.

The only thing Jenas is good at is sounding like he actually went to school, which is a rarity for English (former) players under 40.

Carragher has been suspended, this is great opportunity for Sky to balance it out and de scouse their pundit team, it’s a bit like de louse but actually worse.

Back to the game.
Smalling channeled his inner Mike for that game. He was excellent for the most part. Not read the thread, but if he scored that OG, this thread would be full of it wanting him and his first born dead.
