I really hate to use them as an example but Pep and Klopp came in and added style, then they identified what was needed and have gone about recruiting in those areas whilst to be fair especially with Pep aggressively shipped out the dross.
We who should be leading the way have done none of the above, no style, no aggressive player sales, no clear identification of what we need and that comes from the first point of having no style or playing identity anymore.

Please tell me I'm not reading this 'appoint an ex-player with zero experience' shite again. I'm not on board with Carrick but we have a supremely experienced guy in charge a d look how that's panning out, we have lvg look what happened there, for me the criteria for the next manager would be somebody who understands what is required at this club as in bringing through the young lads and playing with a style, I would take that over some1 who has trophy's on his CV personaly. We also need football men behind the scenes aswell who have a proper influence on the club, similar to the Bayern model

It's not a deranged opinion and what he's saying resonates with many people who want born and bred United players involved behind the scenes. Is it outrageous to want a manager that will buy into the ethos of the club, promote youth and play attacking football? We've had three different managers who have all failed to do these things to varying degrees.

But the starting point of all of it is 'has the guy managed a professional football club before'. Because if the criteria is knowing United's expectations and playing youth in an attacking style, give me the job. I'll do it for half Jose's salary. We will never have an effective 'football board' as long as the cunts and their pet cunt remain.

Dude, do you not remember me being slaughtered for saying exactly this stuff? He's plagaurised me. He hasn't. You wanted Giggs. republikofmanc.proboards.com/thread/25863/next-united-manager?page=1Page 1 and 4. I wanted Giggs after Moyes, that is true. After LVG i wanted Poch first, Giggs second. Also from page 11 Yep this is a big part of why we are such a mess & a big part of why Mourinho would only be a bandaid for a bullet wound. It's exactly the reason I said we won't win anything for a few years. We don't have so much in place, we need to start over again & we need to look long term. We have the money to help keep us competitive but in the long term it will be better to try & sort the shit out behind the scenes & get a long term manager. I keep thinking Pochettino atm. I think Giggs until the end of the season so he can either be hired or fired permanently & we should be making eyes at someone like Pochettino. We should be impressing on the club & everyone in the club that we do things a certain way & that's the way forward. We attack, We are exciting, we never give up, we play youth & we back ourselves It's not to toot my own horn. It just feels weird that today everyone is typing the same things I was.

Please tell me I'm not reading this 'appoint an ex-player with zero experience' shite again. TBF, I was struggling to think of a young manager, hence Carrick. But yeah. Naglesmann.
