Although it was comfortable enough we seem to have an inability to keep going for more than 45 minutes. If we're leading at half time guaranteed we sit further back. Need that to change. Why is it that any team in the top 6 doesnt seem to have an problem going for more except us? Fuck sitting back, go for more every time, that's the way we should be playing, none of this over elaborate tippy tappy shit. City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs to name a few all keep going. We sit back and invite teams to get back into games, we've seen it several times this season. Yesterday we should have scored at least 4 but we seemed content with 2. Not complaining too much as it was a reasonbly comfortable win but without Dave it could have been far less convincing and possibly more worrying. Don't settle for any amount of goals, keep going until you run out of time to score. Without Dave this season we wouldn't be in the top 4. Therefore give the guy a blank sheet of paper to write a figure down and pay him whatever he wants. Yet we sit above Spurs, Pool and Arsenal. Results matter too. If Klopp was more pragmatic and flexible with his tactics maybe they’d be higher. De Gea has saved us some points this year and there’s nothing wrong with that. Schmeicel and Van Der Sar saved us plenty of points too when we were winning titles.

We've also been very lucky with some results. The Dipper game being a prime example. Cruising at half time, sit back for pretty much the entire half and push our luck...why the need? Just push on and score more is what I'm saying. That's what people want to see...goals. Not saying its possible all the time but the way we played yesterday after the Sanchez goal you'd have out good money on us getting at least a 3rd.

I think Jose will open it up once he settles on his back 4. CB and LB needs to be sorted. Hard to have faith in Smalling, Jones and Rojo.

We should have been out of sight at half time against Pool . We let them back in after Bailly messed up. We should have been out of sight against Leicester away before they equalised. Same for Basle away. Today that Spurs equaliser lifted them. They weren't great that first half against Chelsea. It's not just us that play poorly at times.

No but we've had a habit of doing it this season more than any other. The run in is a decent one after city, all winnable so would be nice to see us banging in a few, especislly against the likes of Westbrom at home.
Although if we don't beat spurs in the semi final then I couldn't give a rats arse about any of the remaining games.

Was watching on delayed, 2-0 up and a mate messaged and gave away the final score. I didn’t bother watching the rest, it was obvious what was going to happen. At this rate, OT will have to offer 50% discounts on match days for the one half of entertainment!

Decent first 30 mins against Swansea, some good football and attacking intent, but was pretty flat after that. The second half was poor
City game and Spurs will be the test. Let's see how he approaches these games

Let's see how he approaches these games I think city he goes full defensive mode do what ever it takes not to lose, the spurs 1 will be the one for me semi final off the fa cup is he going to risk attacking spurs and getting beat or will he do just about whats needed to scrape through, it would be great to see us attack both teams and get the results tho

"should have" isn't the same actually getting it done. It happening once is "at times". Multiple times throughout a session is a bad habit. Or outright tactical negativity.

Aye, a meaningless win in which we only turned up for a half anyway. The league season is over. We can fight for a bit of pride against City on Saturday but that's about it.
The post count on this thread speaks volumes for it's significance.

Any wonder given it comes from the manager. Well I think some on here could give him a run for his money. For his job? Yeah probably. Cant see many people picking an attacking line up and playing defensively with it. Also give us a reason to be positive and we will be. Hard to name any at the moment.
