He's not a coach. That's his big insecurity and it's why he is so fucking uppity all the time He's a transfer king and a tactician.

Anyway it's the planks above him that are the real problem. Woodward is a tacky accountant whose main concern is how many million clicks Sanchez transfer garnered.( that's quote) His cheap 2 bit tatty advertising creatives pumping out naff videos. He likens Manchester United to disneyland in pitches to potential Managers
Moyes, Van Clip Board and the Bus Conductor. What kind of football would anyone predict with those 3 one after the other.
We are second because we spent the second most money simple! but we are boring because we have a bunch of myopic mediocre accountants running the football club, when they should be nowhere near it. I'm not even sure they are doing as good a job as they make out selling tat! I mean it's one of the worlds most exciting brands and in a digital world. any good CEO could monetise that and all the hard work was done before those wankers too.
Put someone in a position of power who believes the football is the most important thing and the rest should be easy. I think until that happens there will be a problem

I can't believe I just saw Manchester United play for a draw at West Ham to secure 2nd place. Fucking embarrassing! Totally agree, what a monumental fucking embrassment. We could see this manager's mindset, when he put Bailly on at the death, 3 fucking centre-halfs. Get fucked Jose. The end. I stuck around and watched his post-match interview, where Jose said (paraphrasing) we played to win but around the 70, 75th minute when we have the point in hand, we keep the point and guarantee second place. So for 20 minutes we were playing for a draw. Against mighty West Ham. Tell you what though, I half expected West Ham to win this game which would have meant leaving it until the final league match... so I *guess* this was the right approach.?

Issue isn’t the signings, issue is the manager. Pep won’t let City let up. The scousers will spend some money. Regardless of who we buy with the current manager we won’t win the league

Fuck me that was boring, if we don't strengthen the attack in the simmer im worried. can you imagine if lukaku gets am injury early in the season , were screwed.what happened to the days when we had 3 or 4 goalscorers
I cant see us winning the league any time soon city are light years ahead.
Our centre back are either injury prone or bambi on ice
Our full backs are 30 year old wingers
Sanches looks like a shit Colin Gibson
Shaw was supposed to be our full back for years but must have run over Jose's cat. I thought he played well tonight though
Pogba to quote Gary Neville plays every game like he's 3-0 up
If there are not dramatic improvements in our style if play next year the manager has to go but do we trust this bunch of Muppets to pick the right successor, I don't
That's the issue the owners the board and Ed
We better win the FA cup otherwise we are spurs but with shit football

Well they can't criticise us for not getting results against the big teams so I suppose they need to find something else.

Issue isn’t the signings, issue is the manager. Pep won’t let City let up. The scousers will spend some money. Regardless of who we buy with the current manager we won’t win the league I think that we are unlikely to win the league next season under Jose, but with some luck with injuries and 1-2 signings that hit the ground running we might - regardless of what BS he might say there's a lot of talent in our squad, it just needs to be unleashed. After this season I also don't think that he's the right manager for us, the football is just so bad. Problem with Jose is that he hasn't evolved as a football manager since he first came to Chelsea over a decade ago. Like it or not, players today are much softer than the Terry's and the Lampard's that he had previously coached and made better, and require a totally different approach to make them flourish. What more is that he still plays the same type of football he did back then and it's just not as effective as it used to be. One of the most obvious examples of why I think Jose isn't the right manager for us is the Sanchez-Martial saga. He effectively dropped (and will eventually push out) a 22 year old super talent (who was our most in-form player at the time) in order to accommodate a 29 year old established player (who hasn't preformed particularly well since joining), rather than do the one thing that makes sense and play Sanchez on the right because that's been a problematic position since Carragher messed Nani up.

At least he basically admitted it. He's a dickhead. If we couldn't manage a point against West Ham and Watford playing attacking football for 90 minutes then why are we even bothering.

Its mad how we can go from 6th to 2nd and we are all (rightly) complaining! I'm not. It's not great football granted but it's a definite improvement from 7th,4th, 5th and 6th. We've been playing functional football since Fergie left. Chuck in some trophies in to lighten the mood. We need to get the transfers bang on this summer though.

the transfers have been good, why are we debating it, we have signed young talented players with room to become great. the issue is the outdated manager who is handling these modern day players.
whether we like it or not players mentally have changed and like with anything in this world that gets success you have to adapt to your environment in the best way possible, Jose absolutely refuses to change. We won't get anywhere further with this guy.
