So was Greece once. Probably second in their group, last 8 or QFs at best. I don't think you can compare a team with Cristiano Ronaldo to that Greece team.. That was an example of a weak argument. Ronaldo has 3 goals and 2 assists in all World Cup games he has played. He won't be in that semi final with that Portugal team, especially when there are better teams fighting for the same place. He is amazing no doubt, but a semi final for Portugal in this tournament is a bit too much.

Whoever has voted for Argentina can fuck off. I'm contacting the Spanish Inquisition to prosecute you.

Friendly results mean nothing but how a team plays says it all. There's a difference.

Please spare our club of the Neymar drama. If I'm going for a up and coming superstar, then Mbappe is the one for me. Can play wide right or left, keeps his head down and works with little drama. And oh can the lad play!!

Neymar is the third joint top scorer for Brazil alongside Romário. Has to bring a World Cup home to cement his place in history.

Nothing has changed . Yet they're somehow top 4 material? But the European Champions are somehow not as good as them ? That's just strange. Portugal to me are a very good example of things just somehow falling into place and them performing better as a collective than most other star studded teams.

Argentina, Brazil, Spain and Germany for the semis ahead of Portugal any day. Portugal ended their Euros group stage with 3 points. They only proceeded because in the Euros, the third out of a group of 4 could go ahead, let's not pretend that they're suddenly semi-final material because of that Euro campaign or because Ronaldo's in the team. France may be immature, but they're a much better candidate for the semis than Portugal. Really doubt they'll lift the trophy any time soon but still. And you never know what to expect of Uruguay.
