Good afternoon everybody!
I live in Salford and I am a season ticket holder in the North Stand. My seat is up in the second tier with the pigeons.
I have answered the questions new boys are asked to answer.
1) How long have you been a red?
First game was opener of the 66 season against West Brom. We won 5-2. David Herd scored two and Nobby got one. Maybe Best and Law too.
2) Who's your favourite player in the current squad?
Mata is a beautiful human being, DdG is probably our only world class player.
3) Who's your favourite past player?
Charlton best sums up United's ethos for me, big Duncan was perhaps our best player but I never saw him play.
4) One thing you wish you could tell Fergie?
Could Lee Sharpe have been as good as I once thought he was going to be?
5) Where did you hear about Republik of Mancunia forum?
Friends.

I'm one of the Irish Reds on here from Dublin, I do try and get over to Old Trafford when I can.

We have such amazing Irish support and some great players have come from Dublin. The two Dunnes, Gerry Daly, Kevin Moran and Frank Stapleton spring to mind. Paddy Roche, perhaps not as quickly! My Dad would kill me if I didn't mention Johnny Carey and David Byrne in any Dublin conversation! |
