Half time. We started really positively
Up front with what was a surprising line up. Playing 352.
At the back Tuanzebe a bit shaky, Bailly not looking good and Smalling being Smalling.
Pereira is very confident dropping deep and then trying to bring it forward. McTominay is doing ok, seems to be the target for Grants goal kicks and he wins most headers. Herrera and Mata are switching all over the front line with Alexis. It is entertaining. Some very nice things have came off. Alexis goal was thing of beauty. McTominay heads it down Mata with a sexy flick and Sanchez beats offside trap and wrong foots Donnarumma.
Shaw and Darmian providing the width but no real end product. Some good link up play though. No one really to cross to get Darmian has hoofed it a few times. Darmian has looked pretty decent today. He definitely put himself in shop window.
Defence absolutely rubbish for the Milan goal. Grant maybe could've done better but it shouldn't have happened at all. If anything it was a weird move by our back line.
Smalling tried his reverse grope tactic and got called right away by ref. If this carries on into Prem his career will be over!
Alexis far and away our best player. Hoping this is how he plays this season.
