21,700 attendance? I think United fans are staying away in their droves, we most certainly would have got a bigger turnout of fans on previous tours over the years. Someone find out the attendances for the other games in this tournament please. I didn't have much time, but the capacity of the StubHub arena(ridiculous name) is 27000. So it was 80% full. Not to mention , our main players with the star power were missing , so the casual American fan wouldn't be interested in going to such a non event. Also, our opposition was AC Milan , who for all intents and purposes are lower tier than United and simply don't have enough fans out there you'd imagine. Compare that with the scouse game at MetLife, an arena of 82500 approx was filled with 52500 people or so. Only 63%ish full. Both teams had a majority of their main players available I think (haven't checked properly ) . Edit : forgot to mention that since it was the scouse vs the berties , it definitely was a game the casuals would have flooded to. They've garnered vastly increased followings in the states, whether new fans or those who have changed loyalties. They're sort of the "in" teams you'd imagine. It's a non issue when all things are considered but well , that isn't good for the narrative so...

We’ve added a full back already. You want a correction, a finished product full back? Or one that isn’t injured? We’re not going to add another full back. Dalot is out for another few weeks, he hasn’t done his ACL. Valencia is the club captain. It’s been widely reported that he feels he has enough in Young and Shaw for left back.

So it’s not some sort of sign Utd fans have had enough. Top work.

I would also recon that the ticket prices were expensive and who really wants to pay loads when alot of our better players are still on holiday?

To be honest, if Maguire does come in, both him and Lindelof look suited to three at the back. DDG Bailly Lindelof Maguire Valencia Fred Matic Pogba Shaw Sanchez Lukaku Doesn't look too bad to honest. Wing backs play such a key role though and I'm not convinced that Shaw, Valencia or Young are really the answer for either side.

I think it's 3 years to late for Jose to try and get 3 at the back working if we did go for that he should of done it when he first came in and then signed the players to suit
