You know how important that was last night? Not a single Scouse friend of mine even bothered to slag me. Not a single one. Lucky you. Half of mine have just won the league. I can't say I'm not bothered because it's them so I am. I fucking loathe the bastards. However in the grand scheme of things it means nothing. I'm just disappointed with how he set us up and had us playing during this pre season(if that's what you want to call it anyway). It has me worried going into the season, not the players but the type of football he's going to habe us playing. In the previous two games he's barely made any changes. I'd have thought he'd have made plenty given that its a fitness exersize. Ill be amazed if that many players come back for the first game with the way he's talking. Few may be benched by we're going into the season weak. Granted the players need time off but I want us starting the season well, not scraping wins as well have done. Although I'm guilty like most but I hate the negativity going into the season, we shoukd be raring to go not struggling to think of positives, but theres one person to blame. Instead of playing fucking weak as shit mind games with other managers he needs to concentrate on doing his job. I have literally no faith in the bloke what so ever, he needs to roll back a few years if he wants that to change.

Still waiting for the season to start. Though may not bother to watch any more pre-season as it is a bit depressing

There's only one cunt to blame and that's the owner who won't get the cheque book out because he's a greedy cunt and is bleeding the club dry. Our manager has just realised the situation and is now orchestrating his exit. We will never dominate again till the owners have gone. END OF

Fair enough, it's now perfectly acceptable to get thumped by the Scousers. The least expected last night was that we put in a shift against them. Even that wasn't achieved regardless of our reserves' current standing. I'd have loved to have said to the likes of Fergie and Keano it's acceptable to lose to them because our reserves are rubbish and it's preseason.?? I think Jose's philosophy is getting to us now. I really do, roll out as many excuses as possible. Utd, Fergie and Keane all lost a preseason game 5-0 in Austria. And then won the league. You’re quick enough to call people out as Top Reds. But all this outrage over a loss when we were missing almost 2 sides worth of players smack of top red-ism at its worst.

END OF We have spent more than 600 million in four seasons, roughly half of which by the current manager. If that is not enough to get the team playing positive football then we might be better off if the manager orchestrates his exit better than he orchestrates his team.

The Glazers and Ed have a lot to answer for. It makes you wonder if that's why they wouldn't budge on increasing the Perisic fee last season? They see no resale value or commercial opportunities in the same way a Pogba or a Bale would? Its possible that's part of the reason Fellani was given a contract extension? Cheaper than signing another player which we would have had to do more than likely and considering Ed seems to have a cack handed approach to transfers Jose would at least not have to rely on him getting another deal done? A win win on both sides and Jose obviously likes him a lot.

Well we've also spent over a billion in debt repayments so i'm not going to cry over that. The problem is is a large part of that was spent on Lukaku and Pogba. Two high profile signings who cost a bomb. However it was obvious to anyone Rooney was finished. Van Gaal decided to sell all our strikers and left us threadbare with Rashford digging him out of a hole in his last season. We paid a premium as a result. We hadn't bought a decent midfielder for bleeding years and were relying on academy players who weren't good enough and players who should have long since retired. Had Fergie not been so stubborn with an ageing team Pogba may have got his chance and we needn't have paid a ridiculous fee in the first place.

The man who is never in anything other than perfect shape? He's like the fucking terminator. He never gets tired. So Shaw comes back chunky but somehow Valencia should get a pass? When is Valencia chunky? He's a specimen.

I'm trying not to admit it to myself, but the whole thing smacks of a shift in power. Nothing lasts forever, and just like Liverpool dominated for most of the 80's, we've been lucky to have had damn near a 20 year spell of domination.
That's phenominal when you think about it, but now the club seems to be regressing, and in such a state after Moyes, and LVG that I was more than happy for Jose to come in, but he has always been a manager that has to have a powerful dominant team to work with. If you aren't going to give him the players he needs to do his job, why hire him? Everyone knows how he operates.
For a club the stature of Utd, we are looking kinda embarrassing just now because we have allowed everyone to catch up to and in some cases surpass us. The Liverpool game was embarrassing to say the least, weakened team or not, they were weak as well, but were so frikking good to watch it reminded me of us back in the day.
Like I said, Unless Jose and the boys pulls off a miracle next season, and wins the big trophies, I'd say we are in fear of the power shifting to the Blue half of the city, and the bin dippers up the road. Or we could also just act like the powerhouse that we're supposed to be, and give Jose the signings he needs, so he can continue to do the job of getting us back to where we belong which is why he was appointed in the first place!!!
