Anyone seen the new footage released by Turkey this afternoon showing a Khashoggi body double, complete with the former’s clothing, strolling down the street adjacent to the Saudi Embassy-where he WAS murdered-after the Saudi’s ‘fessed earlier?
Fuck’s sake, they gave this some proper thought.

King Mohamad bin Shalman. It’s Mohamad bin Salman, and he is not the king. At least not yet. Salman is the current king, but he is old and not very healthy. Mohamad is likely to be the next king and regarded a more progressive reformist, in Saudi standards. Yet he still thought that chopping that journalist was a bright idea. I guess the lads will have an extra incentive to give 100% on the pitch if he buys the club. |

It’s all going tits up for them and they had to fess up...as far as I know there is nothing to say he was chopped up so that kind of speculation isn’t helpful...that’s not to say they didn’t have him killed but many governments including the UK have few qualms about bumping off inconvenient individuals... check out the mysterious death of Dr David Kelly for instance... |

Conflating the death of David Kelley, (which was seen as suicide by the Coroner et-al),with that of Khashoggi, is ridiculous and frankly laughable ,as our country has never admitted any involvement in Kelly’s demise,no matter what anyone, including me, thinks about that entire disreputable affair. Saudi Arabia have admitted that “rogue elements “ 18 Saudi’s to be precise,including an experts handy with a bone-saw and forensic science were involved. Erdogan has not told us everything this morning,-he may be keeping his diplomatic powder dry- but the Turks are now actively looking for him, or parts of him, poor man. |

If you are going down the route of “we aren’t admitting it so it didn’t happen “ then the discussion is dead...
I will leave it like this and of course you are free to disagree...
Firstly there is no “et al”...there was the coroner and of course he cannot be persuaded in any way (sarcasm font)...the conclusions of the coroner were questioned by a number of experts and also queried by the paramedics at the scene regarding the suspicious lack of blood...but let’s not get caught up in one case...
If you seriously think that “first world “ governments don’t have people bumped off as they see necessary then I believe you are naive in the extreme...

anyways... 99% of world governments are up to no good. our government are covered up so many dodgey things. Hillsborough they got found out. they will have gotten away with shit loads. the MI5 are some of the best spies in the world and im sure they will have other agencies that we don't know about. its what happens.
I do not condone what Saudi Arabia are doin to Yemen at all, but the UK and US prop the Saudi's up and sell them the arms. so we are no better than them.

reality is the club wont be selling arms or doing anything wrong so I really don't mind them rescuing us from the ownership mess we are in.
we would be debt free and be able to compete just on the strength of what we generate anyway
