The Ajax model works in Holland, it won't work here in terms of competing for the big prizes, while i love to see kids coming through they need to be complimented by Quality experienced players and that means spending money, which they clearly don't want to do. What they probably want to do is hope that we produce some future stars that they can then sell on at a massive profit and pocket the money, they're not looking to compete That is exactly what they are hoping for without having to say that the money tree has been killed & they won't be investing at the level required to compete for the best players, thar will ever give us the best chance of being the best of the very best ever again.

Pinched from Twitter
Avram Glazer puts 5m shares up for sale. Share price is over $20 for 1st time since Jan 2020, which means he’s looking at $100m return.
Would take Glazer family stake from 78% to 74.9%. Still in charge.
They are only interested in one fucking thing!!

They supposedly are A shares So they get the club to pay for their shares that they then sell them on 16 years later at a huge profit and pocket 100% of the sale.

If nothing else, a drop in sponsorship money for the shirt might wake some of these pricks up and question what it takes to actually create a lucrative 'sports brand'...

Obviously several factors at play Covid being one ,very few business's have not been affected. Probably more significantly remember when that CNUT said 'performance on the pitch has little to no impact on the income streams' I'd beg to differ eight years without a premier league title,12 without a champions league..suddenly all that glitters is now only fools gold.

Woodward & Arnold trying to be clever..Chevvy are the 'main' sponsor, team viewer are the 'shirt only' sponsor, all smoke & mirrors & bollocks from that lot.

Let’s be honest it doesn’t take Einstein to work out that the deal with whomever would have been lower. Lost appeal as we just don’t win as much and as a result aren’t as sexy, COVID has hit businesses hard and let’s remember the guy that signed the Chevy deal got sacked as it was far far too high at the time
