The 2 real positives of the tour were: Sanchez. At last the real one has arrived. He’s played most of the tour centrally and has really delivered. Perreria. Cracking tour. Has done everything asked of him. Has to be involved in the first team from now on. Has Sanchez been on the right at all? I've watched bits and pieces of most games but not all of them. I just don't think there's room for him in the centre in our team as it stands (surely Matic-Pogba-Fred is the middle 3), but if he split his time between the right and the centre it may work (i.e. nominally a RW but cutting in to overload the middle whilst Tony V/Dalot overlap). He hasn’t spent any time on the right in any game I’ve seen. |

He means centrally in attack. He's played as a striker nearly every game. Ah, ok. Even less likely to continue after the second game of the season! |

I know its preseason etc but I’m concerned about Bailly. He’s been godawful all tour. I keep reading that he’s our best CB but I seem to be watching completely different games. Might just be me but I've been concerned about him for a while now. He's like a mix of Smalling and Jones. He either shows promising ability one minute but is sketchy the next or he's injured. Plenty of time to turn it around but I haven't really been asking impressed as I was hoping I would be after seeing him when he first arrived. |

Haven't watched a minute of preseason but can tell you Sanchez will not be playing on the right for us. |

If we don't get a right sided player I really think we need to balance that team
Just as an idea could we play with Lukaku on the right, Sanchez more Central and Martial on the left? Lukaku did it well for Belgium and we have seen him play there effectively for us? They can interchange anyway and Lukaku is better running at defenders.
Just a thought, but either way we need something different in that line to give us more on the right and have such an abundance of talent to utilise!

Fred and Sanchez were impressive.
Loved that knock back from Sanchez for the Herrera goal. Hoping he carries this into the season as he'll have a good year if he does.
