We are one more CB away from playing exciting attacking football The hope is that with an experienced world class central defender in there he's more likely to let them play more expansive football.
Not convinced myself though.

Not convinced myself though.
In fairness to Jose, it would make sense that the reason he has the handbrake on is because he doesn't trust the defence (and even then, we all know the stats about how many times DDG has saved us). If we had the best GK and best CB in the league... we probably won't be playing vintage Fergie stuff, but he may well let the attackers do more. |

I’d have accepted that cautious approach against the top teams but we have been served this shit on a far more regular basis. We are missing tons of players tonight but this is exactly the type of game I could enjoy even if we lost as long as we showed any sign of creative football.
