Just wondering what sports all you guys participate in?
In my youth, I used to cycle a lot, 10 and 25 mile time trials, criteriums, grass track and hard track but that kind of slipped when beer, cars and women came into my life. Played hockey for my school back in the day plus the borough team too. I still do a little recreational cycling (mountain biking) and did Lands End to John O Groats via the Western Isles and Cape Wrath about 10 years ago (raised a bit of cash for the Fire fighters charity).. Done a few 10k running events and a half marathon over the years and I'm starting back at the jogging to try and battle the weight gain and will doing another half marathon this autumn. My main sport at the moment is Martial arts, so I take part in Kong Su Do and will be doing my black belt this November if all goes well. Also got a brown belt in Kempo JuJitsu and Tang Su Do, might get back to them in the future if time allows. Just love the camaraderie of it. Been trying golf too, bot I think that may need to wait until retirement as I just cant commit the time needed to improve.
What do you all do???

Is sometimes leaving the car on the drive and walking to the shops a sport?

Lift, hike, fish (sport?), golf and I am decent at bar sports because I have a lot of opportunities to practice.
Grew up playing both footballs and played baseball until my second year in college.

Hiking for me. I love it, especially in winter. Layer up and get out. I'm on my feet all day in my job so when i get home I'm fucked. I'm also a little apprehensive of going to a gym as I wouldn't know where to begin 😕

Does FIFA count? Used to take part in a bit of 5 a side but injury ended that for a while, not managed to get back into it yet. Love my sea fishing. Nice to get out and enjoy the peace and quiet. Play a lot of pool, in a local pool league and play for the county aswell. Used to take part in the British tiddlywinks championships but got banend for streaking.

Played rugby league when I was younger for a local team, didn't enjoy it much though and was better at football, as well as preferring it by a mile. But I'm from Wigan, so if you're stocky and into sport you have to play rugby, or at least that's what my dad told me. Played both for school though.
Actually got offered a trial for Wigan Athletic when I was 10 (I think), they were going round scouting local schools back in their 2nd and 3rd division days but my school banned me from going because I pulled someone's pants down in the playground. So I tell people that they ruined my chance of being a pro footballer.
As I've got older I still partake in a bit of 5-a-side but mainly play badminton, I enjoy it but I also do it for exercise. Not too keen on going to the gym, I get bored. I'd much rather play some kind of sport for exercise.

He had one game and bust his ankle I think and that was his rugby career over. Name was Dave Jones seemingly (according to himself) he was a real talent.

Speaking of scouts, cousin of mine has been scouted and been accepted into Southampton's academy so could be good things lined up for him. In the near future.

I think playing football all the time is by far the thing I miss the most from my childhood. I intended to get involved in a Sunday league club a few years ago but never got round to doing it.

I played football in my youth up until the younger lads could catch me up and kick me...
Always keen on virtually any sport and had enough hand-eye coordination to be reasonably good at most of them but never excelled in any...played golf for few years and even won a trophy...still got my clubs but don't play these days...
I decided one day to do a marathon so took up running...got into the London Marathon via a charity...did 4 Londons and then got together with another bunch of newbies to try to do an Ironman...managed that despite not having a bike and not being able to swim front crawl seven months before the event...
Did a few half Ironman distances but the training is a real bitch...did my last half marathon last year on no training due to consistent little injuries...(not recommended)...
My wife and I mostly do walking / hiking these days...we do a week over New Year in places like Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia and the Lakes...
Next year, planning to do the Camino de Santiago...we're doing the Camino Frances, which is 500 miles...
After that, we'll try some other long distance paths...probably!!

You're the same age as TJ right? All people seem to do is worry about him dying because he's not been online for a few days and there you are fucking shit up worldwide
