The Oxford English Dictionary's standards may have dropped to the lowest common denominator but that doesn't mean RoM's has to. Personal stylistic choice says there is no need for an "at", symbol or otherwise, at all. TBF, as I now help with recruitment in my job, if someone put 'I am good @ liaising with...' their CV is straight in the fucking bin. So, I do agree with you. However, abbreviations are perfectly acceptable TBH I don't give a flying fuck whether the grammar or spelling is correct, so long as it's understandable. Not bothered by the use of @ either. But it will really spoil my weekend if we perform as badly as we did last season against this mob. A win by two clear goals for United or I'm having a huff.

Nowhere near enough fanfare in the original post either.

Christ is this what it's come to now. Moaning about an "@" sign more than the game itself. We've really lost the plot.
As for the game, start Rom, drop Sanchez, keep the rest (it won't happen though, he'll start Sanchez on the left again and Fellaini will probably start aswell). Would be nice to be hopeful though.

Probably the worst pre match thread ever. Possibly due to our low expectations this season which is crap considering its only the second game..

Presser update:
You know the questions that we are going to ask you. What's the truth about your relationship with Paul Pogba?
JM: The truth is we are together for two years and a couple of weeks and I've never been so happy with him as I am now. That's the truth. I cannot demand or ask more from him. He came here on Monday, he trained three days. I asked for his support and contribution in an important match when the team had difficulties. And he did it. He did it better and for more time than we could expect. When he says he did it for the fans and for the team, it's exactly what I want. It's exactly what I demand from my players is what he's giving me. He's working well, he's playing well, he does it for the fans and the team, and that's what I want. I repeat, I couldn't be happier.
hat about his comments after the last game then? Is that confusing for you?
13:11 JM: I don't care. I don't care. I repeat, I want him to play well. I want him to play for the team. I want him to play for the fans, and that is what he did. He's working extremely well here. In his defence, write what you want about him, about me, but please don't say lies. Please don't put him in a situation when people can think he's not a polite, educated guy, which he is. He is very polite, he's very educated. He's never had a fight with me. There has never been a hard exchange of words. It's always respectful. I have no problems at all.
JM: You'll have to ask him. I'm here for two years and a couple of months. The only player that was fined is Anthony Martial. So it's not easy to be fined here. So, you have to ask him. I didn't ask him, I'm not going to ask him. I repeat, I want him to work the way he is doing and play the way he is doing. That's the only thing that matters.
13:13 Given what he's said, are you confident he can produce another performance like that against Brighton?
13:16 JM: I am very confident. But if he doesn't, that's football. If his objective is to, like he said, to play for the team and for the fans. If that's his objective, he has the right to have a bad match. Everybody has a bad day, has little ups and downs in performance levels. Going back to one of the questions. Is he the captain? No, it's Antonio Valencia. But Valencia didn't play. So he was my choice to be my captain, which was a process we started last season. I think it was the game against Basel, the season before, we thought young guy but good personality, made in the academy, normally a starting player. He has the conditions to be the captain in the future and with no Antonio in the team, he will be the captain again. But one day when Antonio comes back he will be the captain.

Martial is fucked, he made a point of saying he's the only player to be fined in his whole tenure. Added to the fact that he hates him, not gonna be a good outcome. Can see Tony saying more than Pogba did at some point in the press.

Probably because he didn't keep the club informed when he didn't return after his kid was born?
