so this is the stage of grief that we are at now is it? calling Mata a Cunt and telling him to fuck off....... sometimes i really do wonder about the human species. He could play in the middle 3 if we played forward-thinking football. He could slay a KDB/David Silva role. No he couldn't. He's not on that level.

im absolutely livid. I cant even write exactly how I feel as it will take up too much and I guess everyone else is thinking the same.
we are a complete joke of a club now with Pogba and the like as the chief clowns.
as much as I like lukaku hes peaked and is never going to be top level. that shot he has to score. 10 times of 10 he should score that. the whole goal to aim at. amateur level technique.

To add insult to injury I've just heard Juan Mata has done his 'must do better' blog. He can fuck right off alongside Pogba. Patronising useless fucks. Mata should be sold as well. He's another one who isn't right or good enough at this stage. He's too fucking slow for starters and if he isn't played as a 10 then it's ridiculous playing him as a Right forward or Right winger. Chilwell was walking past him in the first game A better set up against fucking Brighton, would have been Pogba and Fred with Mata as 10 and Martial, Lukaku and Young Pereira on the right where he has been good in Spain( he's techically excellent, he can deliver a pass and he can score from range. Playing that youngster as DM with Fred was just plain stupid and unnecessary. Let's take a creative young player and make him a defender(FUCK OFF ) All the signs were there against Leicester, they were awful and we were lucky ( No Vardy for 75 mins and No Mahrez luckily they were toothless for the most part I like Mata, everyone likes Mata, which is probably why he is still here because he is commercially popular!

Pogba is not a creative 10 either never has been. Scholes is right we basically have no MF players who can grab the game or bring the forwards into the game OR the coach doesn't train us to play that way. There was nothing but scraps for Lukaku or Martial and both looked dangerous on the crumbs they were given
27 times Pogba gave the ball away FFS. He has one decent game against ordinary opposition flattered by his penalty and he has to have his massive ego stroked.

Mino Raiola
✔ @minoraiola Paul Scholes should become sports director and advise Woodward to sell Pogba. Would be sleepless nights to find Pogba a new club @paulpogba

Timely from Football365 on Mata, given so many are laying into him here: "Take last season, for example. Romelu Lukaku, Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard all took more headlines than Mata. But in fewer than 2,000 minutes, Mata created 12 more chances than any other Manchester United player and three more than Lingard and Rashford did combined." You may need to have another look at the last couple of pages in this thread, Rustin.
It's Mata's 'we must do better' blog which is utterly patronising to United fans in general that a lot of the support have a problem with. This is what I hear when I'm in and around Old Trafford and on away days.
Don't think anybody is disputing his stats, but he was woeful on Sunday.
Treating fans like idiots with manufactured quotes on social media, then putting together his 35th apologetic blog is tedious beyond belief and ultimately an insult to genuine fans intelligence, in my opinion.

He means well. it's just tedious and repetitive at this stage.

What exactly do you want him to say? 'We were shit and basically are shit?' That'd go down well. The blog is a blog. If you're that incensed by it, don't read it.

It's the fact that he's putting together these manufactured blogs and social media posts, effectively telling fans what they already know. Just don't do it. It comes across as utterly patronising.
I'm pretty sure a lot of fans would prefer a better attitude than social media musings from him. Seriously.
As regards not reading these from Mata, they're pretty much unavoidable as his social media post in reference to Sunday was all over the place online through different outlets. And passages from the blog are posted through the media regularly.
Can't avoid what's pretty much unavoidable in relation to this.

Yet somehow the only thing I have read of it are the headlines/snippets people have posted on here. Must be ...

smithy2 said Mata has put in "minimal effort" over the last few seasons. On a break said he is "well past his sell-by" date. _ said (after I posted) that "Mata should be sold" and that he "isn't right or good enough at this stage." That's the kind of comment I was responding to, because I think all three of them are wrong.
