United have confirmed that their position is the same and they won’t be participating. I'm conflicted. I want to be happy about something my club has done but I also fucking loathe the bastards running it.

Although if I'm being extremely nitpicky, they did not rule out participation in the super league or any iteration of the super league entirely.

It’s not going to happen, nobody wants to be in it. Purely because of the backlash I might add, none of these clubs have any real scruples.

Watch it unfold! It won't happen next season, and probably UEFA and FIFA will reach compromises with clubs so that they persist as organisations.
Do people really think a statement from Manchester United today is definitive for the future? They have no idea how this is going to evolve.

I'm convinced it will happen because the big clubs in Europe will make it happen in some capacity. Outside the PL, the big clubs in Europe are barely functional financially. A ESL will effectively kill modern football but its very clear to me that the big Spanish and Italian clubs don't really care.
I think they'll go without the English clubs to start with but slowly but surely the money will seep into their brains.

City going to win a second treble in a row while we debate the appointment of Gareth Southgate. They can’t afford no CL football for another season. Why would you poach a guy from City to oversee that happening again with Southgate? No chance he could manage that with this team. Moyes couldn’t with a better one .

We have a good relationship with Atalanta and apparently have been watching a few of their players closely. I know he missed a chance but Koopmeiners was outstanding last night. I thought he dominated their midfield. Ederson was damn good too. Phenomenal engine.

Can’t remember when our sorry shower last beat the scousers by 3 goals!

They tend to bottle the end game whereas City tend to find a way to win under pressure like all the great teams. They should have annihilated us last weekend but their big players like Salah failed to deliver under pressure. I see them going down hill fast after he leaves.
