I thought the speed of our play until Rashford got sent off was very good today. Credit to Sanchez, I’ve probably been his harshest critic but he was very good. And again for me Jesse is so vital to us doing things with imagination and pace. Would he make the 99 or 08 teams? Probably not. But he’s the best we have now by a mile.

Shaw looked great again which was nice to see. Alexis was decent, which for him is massive progress. Rashford silly and disappointing, but hopefully he'll learn. Lukaku will hopefully gain confidence from his goals, though his miss later on was disappointing. Pogba yet again robbed of a great assist! He needs to stop with that fucking stupid run-up though.
I missed the first 15, but from what I saw we were slow for a while and grew into it. Hardly vintage but an improvement for sure.

If that cunt of a ref had stepped in sharp done his job and got a grip of Bardsley for kicking Rashford he wouldn’t have reacted as he did, it wasn’t a head butt anyway and a booking would have sufficed, this is what you get though with inadequate officials.
Will Bardsley be now be dealt with retrospectively or will they go the whole hog and totally fuck up?

Fellaini was excellent yesterday. No ifs, no buts. trying to find arguments against his inclusion is not entirely different from the match coverage on Sky, Football 365 or The Telegraph. After a solid away win, with a more than decent performance all I can read about was how shite Burnley were, Pogba's peno miss and Rashford's red card.
Mentioning that red card I find it absolutely amazing that the series of major fuckups by that fat cunt in black doesn't even get a mention. Not the blatant kicking of Rashford by Bardsley (or the headbutt that followed Rashford's), not the excellent dive from their CB to deny Lukaku later on (another red?) or grabbing Lukaku from behind after he dribbled past Hart (another peno). It's so good to be hated. To paraphrase Fergie here I'll just say that I take pleasure at the ABUs choking on their own vomit.

In fairness Jenas and Wright both said on MOTD2 last night that Bardsley had to go as well as he actually committed 2 offences. They were asking how his "headbutt" was any different to Rashford's. |
