I think the best thing I heard was a caller in talkSPORT today when he said if one or 2 players are out of form then get rid but when it’s a lot more you gotta look at the manager and ask what is he doing? Pogba really should be sold but I also think the rot with the manager has set in. Let's give this squad to a different manager, someone more adaptable, if it still can't produce the goods then we look at the players. If we look at Mourinhos history, everything points to him being the problem. Nothing will change until the rot at the top is dealt with. We need a DOF to set down a proper footballing vision that is consistent with the Club ideals and philosophies. Ed can boast about the record revenues and continue in that role but he needs to stay the fuck away from the real football operations on the pitch. Our "scatter gun" transfer strategy is largely down to Ed and the Board. |
