Thought I would start one seeing as though nobody has.
don't even wanna talk about the last game but we need to move forward and also get minutes to those that haven't had so many

I want to see Martial force his way into the team as sanchez must be on his last chance.

I'll repeat what I said yesterday, we absolutely need to be taking this competition seriously because the Prem and CL aren't going to be viable options this season for sliverware.
I'd like to see Dalot start and a couple of the younger guys. McTominay might get a run-out.
But I'd like to see a reasonably decent side. This one is on Sky as I understand it.

with Rashford out. I want to see Sanchez through the middle. I feel hes more instinctive finisher than lukaku. something we need at the moment. it work in Pre-season didn't it?
we should even try lukaku out on the right if he has to play. that also worked for Belgium so we should be trying it.

I'd like to see Martial start as a striker here. Periera should definitely be playing. I think McTominay and Chong should too. Jose already said Dalot will play which is good.

Weird to think that some of our players need to be rested. A game against a lower side might be restorative for misfiring players like Lukaku and Sanchez. No idea which version of our team will show up, but getting swatted aside by Derby is not out of the question, although that would be yet another shameful bullet point on Jose's resume. We should beat them by a couple magical goals that will come from somewhere. Sanchez with a hat trick? Too many changes from our normal XI is asking for trouble. Sanchez has had plenty of opportunities against lower opposition and has been shite. Really can't see how he warrants a game here when it's a perfect excuse to 'rest' him. |

Jose has had the perfect excuse to bench him ever since he got here - the fact that he has been consistently awful and damaging to the team. It never mattered. He's our new Rooney. LVG's blindspot with potato is as large as Jose's with Alexis. The parallels are astonishing. I never thought that, when Jose did one of his best pieces of work here by excellently marginalising Rooney, he would turn around and then replace him with another massively overplayed hindrance. It's really quite gutting given how promising everything seemed when he was shuffling Rooney out. |
