Don't think McTominay is going to be good enough but why the fuck is he starting on the bench in a game like this? No Pereira either. 2 sub appearances the last 2 games and not even on the bench for this.

Martial, Sanchez, Rashford...we do have options up front. The only difference if he's injured is we'll probably miss less open goals  Yeah we certainly didn't miss him starting in the FA cup did we? |

The main joy with League Cup games used to be potentially seeing young blood being given a game or 20/30 minutes from the bench. Not now though, we can all look forward to Fellaini coming on for the last 20 minutes to help us see out our 1-0 lead.
