Good article that.
Regardless of what you think about City, if you get a chance have a look at Khaldoon Al Mubarak's interviews on You Tube about their future plans.
He's City's chairman, they have a really clear idea about where they're going.
The comparision between this guy and Woodward is absolutely frightening.

Well one is focussed purely on success not money, for Woody , success ,or a sufficient level of it is only important in relation to making money. The ultimate goals are diametrically opposite .

Lukaku needs to be rested not dropped. That's not going to all of a sudden give him basic footballing ability such as controlling a ball. He's decent, but he'll never be the world class player we need if we want to compete with the best.

I think Lukaku is more suited to the right of a front 3 what I've seen of him there. He has the pace and strength to cut in and he hasn't got a bad delivery on him either 2bh.

Have you noticed what a good crosser Lukaku is? if only he could get on the end of his own crosses, we really are a strange club.

I watched the first half of he match and couldn't believe how bad our defence was...Young was shit for both goals... So I went and started the dinner...I made a superb dish of Hake fillets on mushroom veloute with a crunchy hazelnut and sage pesto, crushed new potatoes, samphire and garden peas...much more enjoyable than the crap I was watching...shocked and surprised at the comeback...it feels like that sort of thing hasn't happened since Fergie left... I'd love to think that the last 20 minutes represented a change of style, emphasis, passion and confidence but sadly I doubt it... So, really, nothing has changed...

Yea I agree use him on the right its not like he`s a good centre forward is it? he doesent knock a lot of headed balls on or even give centre halves a hard time.

Young wasn't at fault for either goals. Both came from the left/centre and he had to come inside and cover for the CBs. Staggering that the RB is getting blamed for the CM and CBs fuck ups.

It was the midfield that failed to intercept and were taken out by a throw in, with Bailly and Smalling both out of position for the assist. Young should have done better, yes, but given he was covering for his teammates failures, he is well down the list.

He then did the one thing he shouldn’t have done, let Kennedy get on to his left foot. He has no right foot. That was appalling, it was as clear as day what he was going to do and Young waved him through. Matic should have killed it at source though.

Also came from the left, the players on that side fucking up, Young left to cover. Bit harsh getting solely blamed for something he shouldn't even have had to deal with if the others did their jobs. If De Gea hadn't saved Mutos header, Young would probably be blamed for that too, despite it also coming from the left with McTominay at fault and Smalling nowhere near.
