IF Moyes or LVG were in charge now, 12 points behind the godforsaken Scousers, with a 21 goal inferior goal difference in comparison. While level with Brighton's points tally at this moment in time, our hirearchy would have Moyes and LVG out of the door so fast that their feet wouldn't touch the ground. Mourinho should be gone, don't be dismissing others very valid opinions in a smart arse way. No need for it. 2nd post, accuse a Mod (incorrectly I might add) of being dismissive and a smart arse. Doesn't matter if it was unofficial or the worst kept secret. He was only officially sacked after it became 100% clear that we wouldn't get CL because by then the club was sure they could give him a lower payout. He was allowed to do his job longer than he should have , just like what's happening now. This is not a football club, it's a business. It's run by number crunchers and pencil pushers. Until these people know for mathematically certain that we won't achieve targets , they will not make a move . It's completely reactive rather than proactive round these parts . Not forgetting VG wanted to quit around Xmas but our fearless leader talked him out of it. Yep I remember those reports well. Our dear leader hasn't a fucking clue what to do next hence the Newcastle U turn. |
