A group of Manchester United players have snubbed their sponsorship commitments in a protest at consecutive travel gaffes, according to reports.

It has been a difficult season so far for the Red Devils with controversy over Jose Mourinho’s relationship with Pogba, their poor league position and a number of other incidents bubbling under the surface.

And now, according to the Daily Mail, they have another issue on their hands as a number of first-team players ‘declined’ to take part in a session for United’s commercial partners to make a point over an ’embarrassing travel situation’.

United’s last two home European matches have been affected with their match against Valencia delayed with the club fined as a result, while they had to move hotels to try and avoid the same traffic delays ahead of their match against Juventus.

However, the bus got stuck in traffic again with the journey from their changed hotel only half-mile from Old Trafford, with Mourinho getting off the bus and walking to the ground.

Every month United send around five of Mourinho’s players to an event with sponsors, allowing them exclusive access to the players to shoot footage and take pictures.

And the report in the Daily Mail continues by adding that the players cited ‘transport issues’ after not turning up at the monthly event.

The club, however, are privately confused how they are being blamed for congestion around the City, while Mourinho is understood to have refused to get involved.

1st half poor, 2nd half better.

Fred and Pereira will be warming the bench yet again, Young will start and out in another 500 shite deliveries and Lukaku will still be wearing his Dr Concrete boots.

Wont keep a clean sheet either, probably even going a goal behind before we decide to want to turn up.

That's my prediction anyway.
