Do people still think we should completely ignore Howe when looking at appointing our next manager? Not saying he's my number one choice or anything but it would be a mistake if we didn't at least think about him.
This isn't just another Moyes, his sides play better football than any of Moyes' sides did.

There is literally no communication what so ever.
Teams aren't just no longer not afraid of us, they look forward to taking the piss out of us.

What makes the most sense to me is that Pochettino goes to us or Real, and then Howe goes to Spurs for 3/4 years. They're the right level for him right now IMO. If he can do well with them then I'd be seriously interested.

I've said this a couple of times this season, the team genuinely look like they were out on the piss last night.
Slow, predictable shite again.

Don't care about the cost just fucking pay it ffs.

Ah yes, the notion that a new manager will turn Smalling into Baresi. Wondered how long it would take for that to be said. Good job the club didn't stop Fergie from buying other players when his signings didn't work too. Great way to run a club.

So while he plays positively, he isn't the most consistent. He probably should step up another level with another team before a big team looks at him.

So is Smalling's absolutely rubbish defending Mourinho's fault again? Nonsensical defending. To an extent. There's no doubt we should have a better centre back, but the best managers improve what they have and make a team more than the sum of their parts. We have never been anything other than less than the sum of our parts under Jose IMO. I'm not saying Klopp, Pep or Pochettino etc. would make him the next Maldini but they've done much better with what they have than Jose has with what he has. Individual mistakes aren't on Jose. But he has bought two expensive centre backs, not really improved them or the ones that were already here despite being famous for improving defenders, and gone back to Smalling. So the fact Smalling's been atrocious in this opening 15 minutes isn't his fault, but he has to take a fair share of blame in the wider situation IMO. Disagree with that. A manager cannot always improve a player. Of the player's level is such, he'll stay there even if Arrigo Sacchi takes time off retirement to coach him. Smalling's level is that. How many players did Fergie bring in that turned out utter duds ? How many did he fail to improve ? It's a long , long list.

If you couldn't it would actually explain a lot about what you post.

There's zero urgency in the team to win the ball back whatsoever.
