Snooker's on at 7 on ITV4 if anyone's interested. Ronnie is 6-3 up against Kyren Wilson and was playing some great stuff this afternoon. Again, mentioned this about three or four threads ago. Matic should have been jettisoned from the side ages ago. He kills any kind of momentum we ever build up. Two-touch guy. January won't sort anything out. One CB isn't going to heal this shit. We're buying average shit then needing an overhaul again. Just get it right ffs. Going to be a long fucking season. It won't sort anything out in the way Mata being signed by Moyes in January didn't. That summer was disastrous as well. As much as dithering Dave was out of his depth, I imagine Eddy was salivating at the thought of Bale and Fabregas joining us when anyone with any nous knew a big name player was likely to swerve us having a manager who had won jack ! Remember when those guys rocked up in suits when we tried to desperately get Herrera? Or when Thiago buggered off to Munich after being heavily linked with us? Or the Fellani/Baines saga? Eddy was here! This guy will be given responsibility to chose the next manager! We will end up paying even more for a CB now so all this penny pinching will cost more now much like letting that CL squad go to the dogs has cost us a fortune in the long run. |

Dead man walking in summer after we failed to get a CB among other targets. Eddy briefing against his manager on the eve of our first game in the PL to cover his own arse. The same Eddy who gave him a contract extension months previously!
Pool and Chelsea spent more than us, but somehow we have to make do,,,, well because it's Jose!
I can't wait for his replacement to polish some of our turds as seems to be expected. Cue the well he should have sold them. Well we tried to by all accounts. But guess what, no-one rates them as much as our board do, well when it comes to getting fees for them.
We are like a shit version of a Carry on film. But our tits don't involve Barbara Windsor!

Would love to say this was a surprise. Never a chance with that midfield. Herrera was awful. Matic is exactly what he has been for most of his stay. And Tree ... its just criminal at this stage.
Mourinho has his hands full now. Maybe he can start getting things right.
