I'll maintain this until this whole crop of defenders is fucked off. Daley Blind was our best CB and he's the only one we sold. And that's a fucking sad indictment on the ones who've remained, cos he wasn't good enough either.

We’re irrelevant now in league terms. It took Fergie years to change the mindset of Utd from that of a Cup team to a side for which every result mattered and it’s been completely pissed away. Sometimes, because we’re living through it, I think we forget just how drastic and terrible this decline has been. The thing that most worries me is how inured to it I’ve become.

What an awful game. Should have had the Benny Hill theme playing through most of it.

So 3 points out of a possible 9, with 3 draws.
That's effectively the same as winning one and losing two, which is sackable territory.
Thing is though, the goons running the club will be satisfied because we still came through those 3 games undefeated, so they'll still be clinging on for dear life to the notion that they still think we'll qualify for top four so he stays on for the foreseeable.
As I've said before, we'll miss out on top four, and end up sacking him way too late which by then we'll be confirmed as being totally beyond repair.
Also any candidates to replace him, will then be avoiding our mess alongside any possible signings who'll be avoiding us because we won't have secured Champions League football.
We're so incompetent from top to bottom it's laughable.

8 points from 5th place after 15 games with a negative goal difference. Fuck me. Its like we've erased the last few years and were back with Moyes in charge going backwards and being completed clueless. The life is drained from half the squad or most of them just can't be arsed.
Praying, fucking praying he's gone before Christmas. Can't be doing with much more of this laboured shit and I certainly don't want to end it until the end of the season to see "if we get top 4". Act now you spineless cunts.
Dropping points through our own stupidity, not for the fucking first time. Dave I can excuse making an error now and again but wtf Rojo was doing I don't know.
Fucking bunch of cowards that simply don't give a fuck about the shirt they're wearing.

These players are all about themselves and the fame rather than winning.

We had a lot of average players who made great contributions because Ferguson looked at the character. That shouldn't even be difficult.

It might help though if the CEO didn't have such a hard on for 'names '. Throwing money around has attracted too many of the wrong kind of players.

He's begging for the boot. We just have a board full of fucktards that don't have the grapefruits to get it done. Just pay the 18m. It'll ironically be the best 18m we've spent since he arrived.

It doesn't take a lot of time to learn soneone's character and it isn't for the CEO to judge it. Keep trying though.

At this point, I've acknowledged that the league is so far gone (I'm not even talking about winning it..) that all I want is to be even mildly entertained when I watch us, and you know what? I actually thought that the game was pretty fun - it was fast, a little more aggressive than what we've seen so far from us (although, those Arsenal players were so quick to fall I was missing LVG on the sideline pulling his stunt again) and at parts, some of our attacking play was good (mostly till the last pass).
Has to be said that Dalot is not ready, a more seasoned RB would've done A LOT more than him yesterday going forward. Rashford was trying really hard and had some lovely moments, but for me, the moment that really changed the game for us was when Martial came off - he was full of confidence and I was sure that he's going to bang another one in at least, once he came off we had nothing going forward.

Very true, I've now returned to my teenage years during the 80's when we didn't get a sniff of a league title. I'm in my 40's now and the nightmare scenario is well and truely back. Absolutely demoralising. Any Spurs fan would tell you that two decades of winning trophies for fun are best to have during one’s 20’s and 30’s

I agree about Dalot who wasn’t that sound defensively either. And yes, it was depressing when Lukaku came on and we switched back to hoofing at him and tree.

Because this is how it is . They will make mistakes and they will show naivete. If we don't have the patience to tolerate these mistakes then we really cannot complain that youth don't get a chance at this club. Can't have it both ways. It's bloody ridiculous. One week we'll see these boards moaning about Young , and when finally Dalot does play, we see complaints about him too.
