Might be conveniently forgetting some performances of the last 5 years but this is surely one of the best 4 game runs in terms of performances and results since Fergie retired. Probably beats the Van Gaal run but that was against better oposition.

I know he doesn't have the experience of the likes of Klopp, Pep, Pochettino but Solskjaer 100% fits the mould in terms of youthful exuberance and building relationships with his players that most of the quality modern managers seem to do. These days it seems like young managers do better and the big clubs are looking to bring in people with a connection to the club. At the very least I hope Ole puts to bed this shit about managers needing the best cv's it's nonsense.

Really pleased Sanchez was able to find Rasher for the second. That’s the kind of pass he’s regularly fucked up here. Hope yet? You’re absolutely right about the pass

Just loving the whole atmosphere around the club atm. Crazy seeing as a month ago we were dreading every game not know what was gonna happen. Part of me is annoyed at some of the players as they're now showing what they can do so clearly weren't giving 100% but can also appreciate just how much life was sucked out of our game with Jose in charge.
Next game in the league will be our biggest test but we're only 6 points off 4th...a gap that was far greater a month ago. Just need to keep this up and continue to play this style of football. Because its a fucking joy to watch and has been well overdue.
Love that Rom is getting in on the goals as well. Said before a lot of it was down to service or lack of so hopefully things there will improve as well.
As for Ole and the job, still early days and a long way to go however if we finish in the top 4 and/or do we in the remaining competitions then at the very least and deservedly so he has to be considered.

I'll judge Ole based on the entire season. If he gets us into a good position in the league, gets us past PSG, maybe gets us the FA Cup, then yeah I would happily give him another season. I'm liking how we are playing right now. The players seem to be responding to him and his staff. Phelan is a must though.

There's a tough decision to made at the end of the season with regards to a Permanent manager, this next appointment will probably make or break Ed at this club. I say If we can't get Poch , leave Ole in charge.

In fact, surely it would be big risk? not to mention the layout involved

Going in the right direction, just hope we don't take our foot off the accelerator and go for it. Anything can happen now, still hope those vermin skiprats get a hiding tomorrow, be a nice way to start the year.
