Herrera is a man possessed right now. He bleeds for this club i think herrera was massive in every single game since ole took over. we praised him after each performance,running and battling himself to the ground. and yet he hasnt won a single MOTM. shows just how many players improved under ole,especially rashford and pogba who are on fire. but without herrera doing what he did those last couple of games it wouldnt have been possible |

He can play many different roles in centre, can mark players out of a game, but right now hes literally busting his bollocks for the team and it's awesome to see. Great example for younger talent |

I know I am not English and I am not from Manchester, but I really love this club (ander Herrera) how people like that have 6 months left to run on their contract and smalling had his deal renewed baffles me. ander has always turned up in the big games and does so much dirty work for others to shine, every team needs someone like that. |

anyone know what is actually wrong with smalling? Jose mentioned him playing with a broken toe or something. I guess Smalling was allowed to get it fixed after he got sacked |

I believe it's an incredibly common injury and a lot of them play through it but I can't imagine that is a particularly good idea long term 😂

Nearly went with Jesse, but he was poor yesterday, IMO. Plus Duffy and the other lad at centre half are big bruisers, Lukaku can dish it back out. Thought Lingard did the job asked of him well in the first half. He tired badly early in the second. It's a pity Sanchez wasn't fit. I think he could have been a good like for like for Lingard against Spurs. Rashford looked knackered by 85 minutes. That’s the match I watched. Lingard put in a shift and did a lot of the grafting that disrupted the Spurs midfield. I wonder how much will be left in the tank for this one based on how much was expended during the Spurs match, especially after how knackered they all were second half. While I don’t want to see it, I wonder if Ole might opt for Lukaku/Mata and a slower more methodical approach to this one. |
