Start our best XI, rest them when we get 2 goals up. Focus on the 3 points right in front of us. Plenty of rest time for the next 3 matches.
Would also like to see Rashford and Martial with Mata. Front 3 are fluid in positions, Pogba has basically a free role and Mata fills in behind him. Second half give Fred, Lingard, 30 minutes.

Mata should plan on playing as his ability to find a pass may be needed. rather bring mata on later on when its vital to keep hold of the ball. they will be either defending deep, which suits mata as he gets more space or we will be chasing the game, where he can unlock a defence or calmly finish. I think these games you got to bombard them from the off. put them under pressure and get early goals with your best team. we have plenty of options off the bench if its not goin our way. lukaku is a strong plan b for example. |
