Pretty damning stat:
Tottenham have won just three of their 23 Premier League away games against ‘big six’ sides under Mauricio Pochettino (D7, L13).

'twas tongue in cheek. I thought it was very odd at first but Dalot was superb. At this rate I'd trust Ole if he decided to stick Dave up front and play Mata in goal. i know. i still hope it works and those cunts act accordingly in the summer

Instead he was channeling his inner Ronaldo!

It's so impressive that we're playing in the same manner no matter who comes in or out of the team. Considering the personnel available I believe that was one of our best performances under Ole. McTominay and Fred in midfield, Dalot at right wing and an out of form duo of Lukaku-Sanchez up front and we still get the job done convincingly.
It's a trademark of a top manager to keep these performances flowing with plenty of players missing from your team. Doing it with 1 or 2 players missing is difficult enough, let alone the billion players missing for us.

Pretty bloody impressive.
I love how the ABU's have shut up regarding how much overboard people were going.
"Oh wow he beats Cardiff and Bournemouth and he's the 2nd coming?! Stupid Mancs"
Yeah, it's all gone a bit quiet on that front hasn't it? Guessing some people are getting rather nervous.

Given the injuries we really needed Lukaku and Sanchez to step up.
At least one of them did.

Had to stream the game and it buffered just as Rom got both his goals. Both times, when screening continued, we'd gone up a goal and I had no idea who'd scored! I only had a disjointed view of the game but from what I did see it was a very professional, all-round team performance. Glad for those coming in and doing a job, also chuffed see the big man stick a couple away too. Didn't get to see much of Fred on the ball, how did he go? PS My Palace supporting employee is very subdued today, apparently his mates and fellow forum fans thought we would be there for the taking.

Fred was a horror show in the first half but he settled in the second.

I haven't been able to post as much in the last few months, but I've been quietly surprised at the hate/apathy McTominay has received, particularly over his new contract.
Showed again (at barely 22) that he's not just a neat and tidy player. Some really nice touches & decisions mixed in with the hard yards.

Our best teams under Fergie always had a few players like him. Not everyone needs to be a superstar.

Given the injury situation and how other results panned out, this win could prove to be significant come May. Very impressive performance, even if not particularly pretty at times.

Looking at the first XI it did look odd initially, but it made a lot of sense considering the potential threat from Zaha who was then kept relatively quiet
