I get the Fred comments but you could also argue Pereira was unlucky not to start in midweek after how well he did coming on against the scouse. McTominay rightfully keeps his place in the side. So you're left with a straight choice between Fred and Pereira.

people want to play. how many games has chong and gomes missed now from going with the squad and not playing? they'll be frustrated. they will have hyped themselves up all week for it to be disheartened not to play. was good to see garner play midweek but its a perfect chance for our young attackers to get another chance too Seriously.
