Not really sure what people see in Fred that makes them overreact whenever he’s not starting matches or the first one off the bench. Hes a new shiney toy who was very expensive. He has plenty of talent but is seriously struggling to adapt to the rigours of the English game. He was hopeless in that first half vs Palace. He was lucky to have made one successful pass in the first 30 mins. Thankfully he settled down in the second. I'm surprised he didnt get in today but he needs to earn it. |

We don't know if he isn't very good or just hasn't adapted to the League yet. That only comes with playing matches. |

Think he's had a lot of unfair shit from people. If he has a run in the team and it doesn't work for him then fair enough but at least the guy a chance. |

I understand wanting to see what he’s capable of, but when we’ve seen him, he’s not been anything more than decent. I’d assume those appearances and his performances in training (which we’ve not seen) are the reasons Ole hasn’t played him more.

Definitely on the front foot, 3 chances created in the first 5 minutes, Lukaku shoots for the far corner and the keeper gets a fingertip to it to push it wide. There was also a really good turn & burn from Rashford, ball played into his feet and I think he nutmegged the defender and was away. Pereira had a shot on target, and there was a bit of a scrum about 10 yards out with a scuffed chance coming off the keeper's legs. An entire match's worth of action under Jose, done in 5 minutes.
