Still didn't have a match thread. We'll probably lose this one so I assume no one wanted to take on the mantle! I'll take one for the team.
Anyway, not that bothered about this one. They're a class above us in most positions and Mbappe is just unreal; they're one of the favourites to win the whole thing IMO. Our game at the weekend against Arsenal is huge, so don't take any risks on any players who might not be fully fit. Let's avoid a shellacking and get onto the next game.

We won at Juve under Jose. No reason why we can't do it here. It will be difficult to win by 2 but we're definitely capable. Just like they're capable of blowing us away early on and putting the tie to bed.
Go at them from the first minute, try and bag the early goal and see if they crumble under the pressure. If we lose 3-0 in the process I won't be too fussed.

I think I’ve probably predicted a Utd loss less than ten times on all my time here (7 of them were probably under Moyes) but I can’t see anything else tomorrow. This game would have stretched us with a full side but with an entire reserve midfield the best I’m hoping for is for the guys to give a good account of themselves. Rom and Rashford might ruffle them at the back but we’ve been done by some rank bad luck this time.
