genuinely would not risk rashford for this game or rom or shaw at that. Let the young ones go out and express themselves, win or draw they will learn from it. Sunday is the real big game and we need players fit for that, a win is massive and puts some additional points between us and Arsenal. on another note I see that Jones has his new contract and is now injured!! No we could be on the end of a hiding if we aren’t sensible here. As for Jones, we are effectively throwing money away giving him a new contract and expecting him to stay fit. Money which could have been better spent elsewhere. Maybe on Dave’s contract ? Yeah definitely better on DDG's contract. I don't think we would be unto a hiding, reality is defence picks itself, no one would be missing bar shaw. Midfield well all the first teamers are out. attack by not playing rashford and Romelu would not lose us the game, if anything the energy with the young ones would likely be helpful. |

Looking at the squad we have its looking doubtful but stranger shit has happened so not writing us off completely. Just go out there and give it everything. An early goal could very well unsettle them so give it a shot. Shame that we let it go too much in the first leg. We qualify tonight and as far as I'm concerned Ole should be given a contract before midnight. Just to save you the disappointment Paul, this is tomorrow not tonight. |

The pressure will be on PSG not to fuck this one up. The fact we have no pressure or expectation to win will be good for us. If we get a goal in the 1st half then the nerves will start showing for PSG.

I expect we'll see the strongest side possible from those that have travelled. If they piss all over us in the 1st half and increase their lead by another couple then make 3 changes at half time and rest the 3 deemed the most important for Arsenal.

If we get the first goal early on then the cat is amongst the pigeons, that's for sure.
As I said, looking at the squad I'm doubtful we can pull it off but we're capable of doing it. If PSG are really complacent about it, then that's an added bonus.
If there's anybody who can instil self-belief it's Ole. It's a tall order but you never know.

If Jose had still been in charge with all these injuries,I'd have said send a starting 11 of academy players & not risk any further injuries. Very different different now,Ole's at the wheel & anything is possible. |
