Lukaku missing that early chance today was basically the equalevant of him missing that clear on goal shot vs Spurs at home earlier this season - it's the goal that would've completely altered the course of the game. I like Lukaku, but I don't trust him. He's not the player you just know would take his chance on a super important game
Also, Rashford was absolutely awful today. He was really poor vs PSG as well (which for me makes his penalty even more impressive - scoring such an important goal when you've played very poorly isn't obvious), I think he's exhausted and needs some time to rest.
Sucks to lose, even worse to lose a "6 pointer" after both Chelsea and Spurs dropped points, but we were never going to stay undefeated until the end of the season. Will be interesting to see how Ole makes the players recover.

There’s still work to do on the squad, today was a timely reminder of that. I don’t think it’s a huge amount but it needs to be done. We’ll see if Ed is capable of doing it.

Arsenal had what, three shoots on goal, two go in.
I could understand the hand wringing if we were overrun, but we weren’t.
Enough opportunities created to win today, comfortably.

We dropped 3 big points. With Chelsea drawing and spurs losing this was a massive opportunity missed. Bad ref, poor finishing......... messed up

Drop Rashford vs Wolves. Lukaku will probably play great there as Wolves aren't in the top 6 😂

I mean he probably will but I don’t think he should. I thought Lukaku was an absolute shambles today and proved yet again that hes a liability in the pressure games. Crazy part is, he was brilliant midweek. In a much bigger game, but top 6itis came for him again today. Rashford was also poor so it's not like he should be in there in front of him. Rashford probably needs a rest hes been getting kicked every game.

He's just a bit meh, Bit pissed off tonight but their home record in the league is good. Lukaku scored that goal they fold we win. We move on

We're two points off fourth with 24 points to play for. In my view, I can't see Arsenal really sustaining a real challenge to get in there- first goal today was freakish and the second wasn't a pen. With Chelsea, they're really inconsistent. Problem is it's looking like we'll probably have to beat City at home which could well give the title to the Scousers!! Arsenal’s is the easiest run in I’m afraid

Lukaku was shite. Rash wasn't as bad but he has been poor for three games in a row now. Neither should play the next game, but one probably will.

Also, have I disproven any matchday thread curse/superstitions? PSG and this, both made by me...
