Arsenal had what, three shoots on goal, two go in. I could understand the hand wringing if we were overrun, but we weren’t. Enough opportunities created to win today, comfortably. What hand wringing? Fred on the wrong side. Matic too slow, etc.

Not having a pop here.. But De Gea hasn't saved a penalty for us in the league in 4 and a half years.. which is absolutely woeful considering..

Said exactly the same thing to my mate in the pub as they took it. He's an exceptional keeper but penalty saves and his distribution are questionable Need a better performance against wolves all round

It was an error from the referee. Are you Karma in disguise? You've said the same thing like 5 times in a row. Least Karma knows the rules of football. Try doing the same.

I'm still proud that we give youth a chance compared to the scrotes over the road

Just on De Gea, he's one of, if not the best goalkeeper in the world.
He's a human being, mistakes, misjudgements, etc..shit happens.
But using his perceived poor distribution and record on penalties as two sticks to beat him with when he's practically single-handedly saved us on God knows how many occasions, is just plain ridiculous.
He's probably the main factor that we're in the CL quarter final draw on Friday.
By his standards, yes he's had dissapointing performance's this season but people need to chill.

It won’t be a surprise to regular watchers of the youth and reserve sides but Greenwood looked very good I thought. I’d keep him involved from here on in.

Fred’s game by numbers vs. Arsenal: 86% pass accuracy 12 ball recoveries - most on the pitch 10 final third passes 4/4 accurate long balls 4/5 tackles won 3 fouls suffered 2 interceptions You can't disagree with stats but have to say I expect more for 60 million was it we paid for him. He's just a bit meh, Bit pissed off tonight but their home record in the league is good. Lukaku scored that goal they fold we win. We move on I thought Fred did well enough, not exceptional or anything. I think those stats do at least torpedo the idea he was shite today though.

Surely you have accepted at this point the See-What-They-Are-Told-They-Saw brigade will see what they're told regardless of actual performance.

I only got to see up the penalty, which of course he conceded (harshly, but there you go). Up to that point I liked what I was seeing and hope he can crack on from it.
