Not sure whether this is a good or bad thing (considering we had a full week to prep for tonight and served up that dogshit), but this result now means we've no weekend fixture before the first leg vs Barcelona (would've been the FA Cup SF), and therefore have an 8 day window to prepare for it. Also, the game sandwiched in between the 2 legs is at home to West Ham, so it's about as good a situation as we could've asked for going into the two massive games. Doesn't it just mean we play in the League that weekend instead? No we were in fact due to play Wolves that weekend, so when we got drawn to play each other in the QF, it meant that one of us would definitely be participating in the SF. Therefore they pulled the fixture forward to a date to suit both parties, Tuesday the 2nd April.

Fuck. Can't believe we've been knocked out. Looks like I had a better night watching three Irish fellas on stage.

As good as its been up to now, I still really don’t think Ole is the number one solution. This loss isn’t the reasoning behind this either.

The same reason some of ye want Lukaku gone no? Couldn't speak highly enough about him during that 3 game, 6 goal run. Misses one chance against Arsenal and he's back to being shit. Need to do it regularly and consistently. We got a result in Paris without Pogba. Through his own fault too. Needed him the last 2 games - might as well have stuck Crerand out there. Edit: Robson missed games cos he gave everything when he was on the pitch. Keane gave everything every time he was on the pitch. Beckham, Scholes, Ronaldo, etc etc, - same. They weren't great, or game changers every game, but you can't say they didn't give it everything. Can you honestly say Pogba does? No he doesn’t show up every game, not even going to pretend he does. He’s not Keane, not close. And maybe if we are in a position whereby we have talent like that of Keane’s throughout the side we can think about replacing him. But as of now we are nowhere near that and whatever it says about us Pogba is probably our best outfield player so I think he’s one of the last we need to look at replacing. Ah, so Pogba gets a pass because. So, this time next year when the lads can't be arsed (again, in plenty of cases), it will be "thanks Ole but no thanks" and the players get another free pass. And then excuses get made to give the players another season to sack another manager. Yippee

Yippee mate,as stewart already said,we have so many other areas in the squad that need adressing than pogba. its always easy to blame one particular player, especially if he is the star player. but in fairness,he did contribute a shit ton of goals this season, way more than any of our strikers. there's no doubt that the lad can be frustrating as fuck and sometimes he makes me want to smash my screen, more than most of our other players to be honest. but today wasnt about pogba. it was about the whole team, all of them were absolutely trash. even the best players need world class players around them to perform on a different level. we cant really offer that to pogba or actually expect him to deliver all the time because he is our only potential "world class" player. i would want to see him at least another season with some proper reinforcements around him and actually some players that can also be able to decide a game by their own. all that said,i think i know why we lost the last 2 games and you all will hate me for that. since ole took over i have watched all the games by myself,my girl was never here. she watched the arsenal game with me and i already blamed her for that loss. interesting thing is,most of the united games i watched with her in the last 6 years we didnt manage to win. her attendance gives united around a win out of 3 or so. today she was here again. she even stayed in another room during the game because she also starts thinking that she is actually jinxing united. 😆well...we lost again. i told her another room doesnt seem to work, she needs not to be around during the games,as far away from me as possible. i dont believe in things like that but fuck me,my experience with her and united in the past 6 years make me think that she is a damn witch. oh...and she doesnt care about football, thats even worse. she is a witch and decides the damn scores before the game starts, giving them a win every now and then to make me stay with her.

Although I said he should get the job after PSG I’ve never been completely convinced.😀😀 I know we went on a good run after Jose left but I’m not sure he’s what we need beyond a caretaker. I am still reluctant to add my name to the yes poll. Why does he seem to wait so long to make a sub? Generally his subs come around the same period in games. You could see tonight what was going to happen but the sub came too late. Rashford was poor tonight and has been for quite a few games now. Unfortunately with Lukaku out there aren’t many other options. Although Pogba went missing again he’s still one of our better players but we should have better options around him. Matic needs to be phased out, as good as he’s been he’s not the future long term. Lingard is and always has been a good squad player. Tonight emphasis this point. If we are honest he shouldn’t be starting at this level. Imo DOF is our immediate priority. Reassess the manager situation, no need to make a decision yet. Don’t give Mata an extension, sign a RW instead. Bin off Darmian, Jones, Rojo, Young and Sanchez if we can. Sign another FB, RW, CB and midfielder. If we are honest we were also lucky against Spurs Brighton Southampton Leicester PSG The only game where I thought we were unlucky was against Arsenal and possibly Pool considering our injuries!

Didn't watch the game, I've been under the weather lately so couldn't muster the strength for a 12 a.m. kick off.
Saw the replay today and I can't fathom the utter disgrace that was that game. Utter disgrace.
Paul Pogba cannot be called world class until he produces performances that merit the tag week in week out. It's no use to have him do it periodically or when he feels like it. World class does not pick and choose their moments to be world class. They just are. Especially in games like these. At this current moment, he's not world class . He's just extremely talented and needs to produce a lot more.
Rashford needs to be dropped. He's been absolutely dreadful from the PSG game.
I don't understand why Pereira and Mctominay were suddenly dropped altogether. Matic was shite against Arsenal and was the same yesterday. I mean, why not stick to a midfield that worked so well against the scouse and the champions league ? Herrera and Matic are just back from injury and aren't match fit. They need to be gradually brought in imo.
The defending for Jota's goal was Sunday league. Absolute garbage. Romero was so poor as well. Thought he could have got a hand for both goals. Another thing I do not agree with Ole. Your best keeper should be playing for games such as these . Wolves are a solid outfit. Should have been respected.
Neves should have been signed last night in the dressing room. Either that or Woodward should be on the phone with his agent today and sign him up , whatever the price.
Fucking stinker.

Absolutely, can't recall him making as many mistakes and losing as many balls as he has over the past couple of games (including the PSG game). Also, Pogba is just not a captain. Not sure what it is, but whenever he's been given the armband he has performed very poorly. Need more leaders in the dressing room.

As much as we have every right to moan, bad form was always going to happen.
