Aside from the negativity surrrounding the game don't think its been mentioned much but I was seriously impressed with McTominay last night. Took his goal well and could have easily had a hat trick. Covered a lot of ground as well, hopefully it'll the lad will keep going in the direction he's been going for us.

The skill on the ball - trap, turn, pass - is there. Hopefully he can start making those passes forward that make the difference.

What we currently have on our hands is a unique mix of players with horrible decision-making ability and actual footballing ability.
1. So many times since he joined us that Lukaku threw away an amazing early opportunity and we ended up losing that game. As a fan, I don't trust him - I can't imagine the players do. He's too soft and has no killer instinct to his game. I think we should seriously consider letting him go. 2. I know that there are some here who rate him, but for me, Lingard would hardly be a squad player at any other top side in Europe, let alone an automatic starter. Yes, he sometimes scores a worldy, but we could for sure find someone who'll contribute so much more than him. 3. DDG. This is his worst season since Fergie's retirement and him not saving our ass is the difference in games like yesterday this season (the Spurs game was a unique performance even for him). I think the world cup has really hurt him, he hasn't coped with the criticism very well. The contract situation probably isn't helping either. 4. On his good days, Pogba is unplayable and the best player in the world in his position. Problem is, he just doesn't show up often enough. Can't label him world-class when he's so incredibly inconsistent. 5. Apart from trying to score as many own goals as possible yesterday, Smalling has largely been good over the last couple of weeks. That being said, he's not good enough if we're to challenge next season. Lindelof needs a superstar of a CB partner to give us a chance to challenge for the title next season.
Other than that, Nuno has built one heck of a side - Wolves play with so much confidence and I wouldn't be surprised to see them finish in the top 6 next season if they continue to invest. I believe in Ole, mostly because I think that what he brings to the table is the ability to rebuild our identity, but he has a lot to learn.

Smalling, Young, Jones, Valencia still at the club god knows how many years between them it's a joke they should have been moved on years ago, this club is pretending to be big time at the moment. listen to us all moaning about the same things when Mourinho was here... Those four names for me epitomise all that is wrong with our club in that they represent the level we are currently at. We are an Arsenal standard team at the moment searching for a cup win every 2 years and 4th in the League. What a shit contrast to when those names would have been Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra. Ole has done a great job in the last 4 months but he can only take this lot so far as the current team is not up to it. For fucks sake United back him, Phelan and Carrick with a decent DoF/Technical Director asap who fully understands our identity (Van De Saar would be good or someone of that ilk who gets what we are about and can help restore our pride by getting us the right type of players) and lets start again. It is a rebuild job now which will be even harder if we miss out on Top 4 as I think we will but for fucks sake we are still Manchester United and we can still attract quality players. If Valencia, Young, Darmian, Rojo, Smalling, Jones and Sanchez left tomorrow I could not care less. Complete and utter shite the lot of them and has been mentioned by other people if Fergie was still here these inept fuckers would have been gone a long time ago.
