Yeah I agree. This Ajax team won't have cost anywhere near 500mil. As you say, it's not about buying the most expensive player but buying the right players for how you want to play. Whether you spend 100mil on someone or 10mil on a hidden gem is irrelevant.
Big difference with Ajax and the likes of us is its clear to see they want to play for the shirt and not the next pay cheque. We have Woody at the wheel. |

If anyone on here doesn't think we actually need TWO fullbacks. Then surely tonight highlighted it Dalot had about 8 games in the Portugal League before we got him and he's nowhere near ready to be the main RB. We also need a left back good enough to push Shaw and cover for him if there isn't a youngster and there clearly isn't 2 full backs at least 1 decent CB 1 Experienced Striker 1 Right Winger 1 or 2 CM's 200M though that will cover all that  |

reality is whilst others have been tracing the worlds best youth, building systems to get the best out of the team, investing in the present and future, making sure that on the pitch results and trophies were the catalyst and leading factor in there off the pitch activities we simply have done the opposite.
We are more interested in commercial sign ups than we are players, managers, coaches and even the right pre season.
Truly this is disney land, one big joke where every character has no substance whatsoever
