I’m not using any of those an excuse, bar injury. And even that shouldn’t take as long to get back to speed. I wasn't implying that you were. Those were excuses for him that have been used during his time at United. I really hope Ole can get the best out of him next season, but for me this will have to involve a different attitude first and foremost. It's obvious that the talent is there but personally I can't stand watching him give up when things don't go his way. It's practically like playing with 10 men. So shamefully admitting to being surprised by the fact you have 4 stars red pilgrim. I have to admit that you seem to have flown under the radar for someone who has so many posts. Humour drunk me and tell us a little about yourself...

What an absolute nincompoop Ball should have been forward from there & OGS was close enough to have told him so.

Good god. What an absolute pillock. That's what I noticed. You could see it coming, because he wasn't confident in his ability to make some of those basic passes. He kept shifting his body around to use his right foot, trying to decide where to pass and probably didn't feel confident in his ability to make any of them. Basic level, lack of quality. The same with Jones and Smalling, Lingard, Lukaku etc and some other useless members of that squad who weren't playing the other night. We need these guys out and some real quality players to set the standard and push others to perform at their highest level. The kind of players who will come in and upset the comfort zone within the squad.

It’s painful to watch and the manager isn’t doing him any favours. I feel sorry for the bloke. He needs to be let down gently. His form last season deservedly got him the nod over Shaw but his form has nosedived this season. I will be very angry if he starts on Sunday.

Interesting I didn't hear too many Scousers talking up how they'd fancy playing Barca after the 2nd leg on Tuesday. There were plenty of them saying they fancied it after the 1st! Hopefully Messi can put them to the sword and we can have the Ajax-Barca final the purists deserve

I hate the preferential treatment that Martial gets in general from fans, Pogba benefits from this to in the main. Have noticed it on other fan forums I've been on also. Yet weirdly the knives were out for McTominay, a youth product who cost the club nothing and works his socks off for the team. I just don't get that, call it how you see it, neither Martial nor Pogba have justified their big fees and star billing at the club, they're probably also still 2 of the more lucrative players in terms of transfer fee we could attract, I say move on and use that money to bolster the team.

Players wearing gloves in April should be sacked
