All of this is on the players, not Ole. He needs to be backed to get rid of the overdue deadwood and replace them. Every single last bit of it. I’ve said it before but no manager alive is getting a title challenge out of this collection of over paid over indulged under worked spineless mercenaries. I’m so pissed off at the lot of them that I didn’t even bother with commas in that last sentence. Either they don’t care enough to put in a consistent effort or they can’t handle a bit or adversity. Either way they showed their true colours and Ole needs to be backed in the summer to make any and all changes necessary. But I was led to believe that we just needed a manager to allow them freedom to express themselves? Turns out that was a load of bollocks really. Most of them are dross.

Seriously now, what's actually happened to us after a great start under Ole? Why have we gone back to Jose, except probably worse? I cant figure out what it is The common denominator is the players. They knew that Jose was taking the blame for their poor performances. Once a proper United legend came in, they knew they were going to be the ones under scrutiny and raised their games. Pogba, Martial, Lingard, Rashford, Matic, any and all defenders, DdG being the worst of them, suddenly started playing to their potential and once they felt the pressure was off, returned to form. They downed tools under Jose and are doing it again. No manager is getting a title challenge out of them. They feel like they can throw a manager under the bus and escape responsibility. Fergie was beyond scrutiny, and you were never going to take him on and win. The supporters, media, former players or club hierarchy were always going to back the manager, no matter how big the player, because Fergie was untouchable. That power/respect/support for the manager is gone and player power now rules this club. By undermining Jose this summer, and siding with Pogba in the fall, Ed has institutionalized their control. I’m not going to single Pogba out because I don’t know what happens behind the scenes, but the players at this club are a virus. Fergie had to clean out the drink culture when he arrived, Ole has a more challenging but similar problem to eradicate now. The players are a bunch of fat cats at the trough who need to be cut off and kicked out.

Also to those blaming Dave for the 2nd goal (yes he should have done better) the defence is to blame, a la bullshit like this.

Oh, they’ve expressed themselves plenty. The useless overpaid prima donnas have acted as such all season.

The problem is our managers are behind the players in terms of being assets.
May as well just give Ed the job, he seems to enjoy some good old dick swinging.

Top 4 still possible. Next Sunday is make or break now. Drop Pogba for the rest of the season and hope he fucks off. Useless, lazy bastard. That’s relegation form . 8 defeats in 10 is it now? Europa is the least of our worries. At this rate Ole will be gone by Christmas. You'll be the only one pushing for that.

Really do love the passion from some of the former players. Shame the current lot don't think the same way. Brought one legend back to manage, now bring back a few more to help guide the club.
Guy is still more of a captain and leader now than any of this useless lot

City were beatable today but its the same old thing. Shambolic defense gives up a bad goal and our mighty attacking offense is anemic. Not a big Fred fan.

Come to think of it, he laid down the law/the United way for the Co92 and 08. Fergie could be hands off during training bc he would police the likes of Ronaldo. This current lot have Pogba. Gawd we miss a leader like him.

The players are a bunch of fat cats at the trough who need to be cut off and kicked out. Great points, looking from the outside in its clear we have a weak dressing room culture, Ole should be able to already spot the rotten apples, get shot of them and hopefully buy the right replacements and build off that. My targets for clear out would be Pogba, his little cheerleader Jesse, Martial and Sanchez - we're being linked to young, upcoming talents, get those in and also look to secure an ageing leader / proven winner (Kroos or Rakitic maybe?) to corale them. Signing Godin appeals to me as well for the experience, that could work well in Lindelofs development and bring in a younger CB as well as Diego may not play every game. Maybe line up looks something like this; .DDG. .Dalot. Godin. Lindelof. Shaw. .Bruno F. Fred. Kroos. .Sancho. Lukaku. Rashford. Subs - Romero, Tuanzebe, Meunier, Mctominay, Tielemans, Garner, Greenwood. Lukaku would also be in my sights, maybe give him until January to see if the signing of an actual RW boosts him, if not sell him and sign a starting striker. There are other holes there that need plugging but this could be a start and either promote youth to cover gaps or sign additional players.
