There are some brilliant and innovative football people out there occupying similar roles at other clubs, surely we can find a world-class DoF who will relish the opportunity to bring back a fallen giant? The salary will be amazing, if it goes sour you can always blame Woodward, and if you do well you're the hero of 600 million fans. Nothing to lose. |

Post-Fergie we have become the wrecker of dreams and reputations. Moyes wasn’t the right fit for us but was a widely regarded as a decent manager. Now? A complete joke. Jose looks wrecked. Van Gaal retired. Ole won’t get near another top job. If I’m Poch or Allegri I’m thinking very carefully of going anywhere near this poison. |
