You can definitely see us signing someone like Danny Ings then getting the excuse of 'we had people settling into new roles so it was difficult to get deals done, even though everyone is doing the exact same roles as before'.
If these dick heads are super good at their jobs, they will be working on amazing deals right now.
But they aren't.

so if im clear on this: we have created two positions, which are supposedly key to improving the technical competence and effectiveness of the footballing operations, and we fill those positions with person who have NO EXPERIENCE in said roles.

So this is just Ed trying to take the heat of himself. The guy who is terribly out of his depth (who Ed takes most of the criticism for when he fucks up) is still in his job. It looks like these new positions are simply lightning rods for the fans ire when Judge fucks up another transfer window. Most of our fan base will be stupid enough to fall for it as well.

These appointments will make little difference,they are all cut from the same cloth & will be saying the same thing.
There is a reason that all the experienced people linked from outside the club have not been appointed.

It really is laughable, Woodward actually bigging up the 'DNA' bollocks again yesterday & expecting the customers to believe that the best people have been appointed for the roles & a big part of the recruitment process is knowing the club. It's called getting your Ducks in a row for the next round of excuses,bullshit & bluster. |
