Gomes could do with a goal, he's playing decent but looks a bit too hungry like Greenwood a few times. I'd only move Shaw out of this team into the starting lineup. You was saying? |

With Greenwood's rise, I think I've forgotten how good Gomes could be. We have quite the quartet of exciting youth players in Gomes, Greenwood, Chong and Garner.

I don’t want to keep harping on but Matic’s Bumbling about is shocking today. We need to replace him as much as we need to replace Ander. Obviously we’ll replace neither. Make no mistake, our midfield isn’t in the top 6 in the league, probably not top 8 (though it may sneak ahead of Arsenal’s). Take out Pogba and it’s genuinely bottom half stuff, which is why it astounds me so many would be willing to do so. |

Matic and Fred have been our worst performers tonight. I’m pretty sure Lingard has done literally nothing today. A decent run at the start of the half but that's about it. So he can have joint 2nd place with Fred behind the woefully bad Matic. |
