Who exactly did people think we were going to get on loan? Considering that strikers are like gold dust and no one wants to sell theirs in January. Spurs needed one, who did they get? He might do a job off the bench for a few months until Rashford comes back. We have literally zero cover at CF behind Greenwood, who we need to play as a RW at times as James has gone to shite. There’s no one remotely close to being ready from the reserves. I don't think its necessarily about that though. He's pissed around for 3 to 4 weeks getting Fernandes in and 3-4 hours on a panic buy (or loan in this instance) because he's running out of time. Had he had a week or so at least we could have tried to get a better option, but he dragged his feet the useless cunt. Will give the lad a chance anyway, he might do ok for us for a few months. |

At least give the guy a chance. He's clearly not a long term option so we didn't sell Lukaku for this. January isn't exactly an ideal month to get big names in as Stew alluded to. Best make do with what we have and hope it works. We've literally just attracted Fernandes so that point is void. Name a top player we've signed in a Jan transfer window besides Berba? |

I get where your coming from but as said before if it's just a loan untill the end of the season it will give us an extra option and we are threadbare upfront. as long as the club get 3-4 top targets in the summer(yes I know)we should be good to go. tbf to ole he's got rid of some shit and his signings have been good over the last 2 Windows |

Everyone’s talking about his Watford form. Pretty sure he did well up until Christmas for them that season, then was utter shite afterwards.
Anyway, whatever. If his legs work, we’ll take him at this stage.

It’s a loan deal and good cover for the short term. More importantly we got Fernandes on a great deal this window when almost everyone including myself thought we’d end up with no one. |

The loan system with an option to buy is not a bad way of doing things for older players(Sanchez is a prime example)

It's a 6 month loan he will play a handful of minutes for us, gives us a chance to not rush rashford back and burn out Mason, end of season he's gone, we havnt lost fuck all by bringing him in.

I'll answer for you...fuck all, plus its one less team slot Lingerie can't take..
Martial is a lazy bastard half the time, Greenwood is injured and James is smack bang in the middle of a poor spell. So where are the goals going to come from?
If bringing him in for 6 months helps that then I've not complaints. Of course there are much better options but in all honesty I didn't expect Ed to bring anyone else in so its better than just relying on what we have, which isn't working that great at the moment. He'll at least offer something different.
Edit - that isn't me giving Ed credit. I'm just used to him being a useless cunt.

A 30 year old ex Watford striker playing in China is not what we should be getting. Just play a kid if greenwood or martial get injured. Ole can play if we're that desperate. Total waste of money
