Igloo? What the actual fuck? I’m obviously living in a different time stream! I will be more than happy to post in the “proven wrong” thread if: A/ We sign him, And B/ He turns out to be an absolute goal scoring monster! Breath, not being held! Name available, gettable forwards we should have gotten for short term cover until Rashford is fit again. I'll wait, but breath not being held. Talk about an over reaction, I mean, it's expected from Mrs "Urgh, it's sunny, I hate the sun, urgh, it's raining, I hate the rain, urgh, it's windy, I hate the wind. Urgh United won, that means I can't post on that forum now, have to hide until they lose", but I had hoped others might have a bit of a footballing brain to see that 1 - Options massively limited 2 - Players hugely overpriced (should we have spent 40M+ on King instead?) 3 - Must clubs want to sell not just loan (Piacek as example) 4 - Loan move is absolutely risk free, unlike a panic signing that lumps us with someone on huge wages for the next 3 years (Sanchez turns to face you, smiles and waves) Seriously, who should United have signed, for what deal, and for how much money. Go.

A 30 year old ex Watford striker playing in China is not what we should be getting. Just play a kid if greenwood or martial get injured. Ole can play if we're that desperate. Total waste of money I forgot playing 17 and 18 year olds mean instant success. May I point you in the direction of Chong for this one. How do you know playing kids and putting that much pressure on them will work any better than bringing in a striker that has already played in the league before?

This is an awful signing. We sold Lukaku for this. But I was being assured the name Manchester United would still attract players. How far have we fallen? Yeah he’s definitely the direct replacement for Lukaku all right. Jesus. We didn’t have a direct replacement for Lukaku. Not in the summer anyway. We weren’t even seriously linked to anyone then. Every man and his dog was moaning about Martial and Rashford starting every game when they weren’t. Well this is what happens when they don’t get a break. Ridiculous decision to leave us so light of forwards .

Desperate for cover, we get cover, yet people still gripe. Maybe we should ask Peter Crouch to come out of retirement?

Actually if we’re talking about using brains, I’d argue I’ve a very good case for demonstrating that I’ve used mine a lot more than others on here over this last 12 months.

I'm fond of the name yes. Still fail to see your point. Just because one player does it doesn't mean others will...again Chong. Scores plenty in the u23's, can't string a pass together in the first team. Surely its better to bring cover in as well and using youth than relying solely on young players that have never played in the premier league, haven't dealt with the physicality of the premier league. Martial gets injured, you chuck Ramazani or Bughail-Mellor straight in, putting a lot of expectations on their shoulders and they don't produce, then they get slated because they're not "good enough". Its a massive risk.

Who exactly did people think we were going to get on loan? Considering that strikers are like gold dust and no one wants to sell theirs in January. Spurs needed one, who did they get? He might do a job off the bench for a few months until Rashford comes back. We have literally zero cover at CF behind Greenwood, who we need to play as a RW at times as James has gone to shite. There’s no one remotely close to being ready from the reserves. It's a farce. Sign one of the decent strikers from smaller European clubs. Or South America. Not fucking middle of the road Josh King or bloody Ighalo.

Fuck it Aidan Barlow (no not Kens son) scored tonight and he played up front.
Throw him in against Wolves, if he doesn't scored at least 2 then he should be demoted to boot boy.
Jesus.

Cmon then, name a forward in the reserves/youth ready to make the step up... Hoogeworf scored a hattrick last month. Rather take a chance on him than give 100k a week to ighalo
