Any free agent midfielders these days? Can Garner be any worse than what we are seeing in midfield? I'd give Garner a go. Ole has to look at what's happening on the pitch and see that this team will finish in 7th, if he keeps going as he is. Martial pulled up with probably a hamstring injury, so that 7th is looking shaky at this point. So Ole will know that if he keeps with this team, using players like Lingard and Young, we are going to miss our target of CL football. Why not give the young turks a chance? Garner, Gomes, Greenwood. We have no presence in midfield, and I doubt honestly that Garner or Gomes is a game-changer, but at least we might see them emerge as first-team players, while still losing 1-2 to Palace. I mean, if we're going to lose and slide down the table I'd prefer doing it while watching Garner than Young. |

Will probably regret asking this but did anybody see Ole's interview after the game? I can’t bring myself to. I love Ole, we all do, and the best case scenario is he’s been sold a pup and is suffering in a very public way. Because he’s never been a fool and must have known that selling two midfielders and a striker and not replacing them was a disaster waiting to happen. |

I was harsh on James after Wolves but he responded well today. Keep him in the team and let him develop. Ole needs to send a fucking rocket to the refs association now though, disgraceful how he’s being treated. That prick Tierney is looking at him get kick3d and he books James.

Gonna hate it but at this rate its inevitable that he'll be the next scape goat that people will eventually turn on. However there are things he can control that he needs to deal with, playing Lingard is one. The sad thing is this is a game Lukaku would have scored in aswell so it's a bitter pill to swallow knowing we've not replaced him. That being said Rashford and Martial need to account for their own shit as well, Rashford in particular. One of the worst games I've seen him perform in. As soon as we won the penalty I called it that he'd miss it aswell. Sods law. |

James was really the only bright spot. The good news about Pogba is that there is absolutely no way any of the big clubs are going to blow their brains out to buy him. He’s our problem. What happened to Shaw? Injured?

The one shining light is that, if we did somehow get decent owners, our money means we can get back to the top table quicker - unless we've been shit for so long the money starts to dry up... I think we’re ok on that score. Not many of the deals are performance related (adidas will have to pay us less next year if/when we miss out on top 4) so the money should continue to roll in. Easy for me to say as a non-match goer but the vampires and Woodward need to start hearing it from now on. It’s not going to affect the team as we’re shite anyway. They do. I always shout ‘fuck off Glazers’ or similar when I get a minute but they don’t get even 1% of the abuse they deserve. I’ve said here before, the Stretford End should only be allowed to sing two songs this season. Ole’s at the Wheel and some variation on ‘Fuck off Glazers’. That’s it, nothing else matters. |

Would love to see the stats at the end of the season to see how many times he's been fouled during the season. After 2 and a bit games it's up to 11 fouls on him and that's just in the final third. |
