We could have won it, shocking. Seriously was afraid of a pasting. I would have been glad to take a point before the game but now it feels disappointing because we were close.
Very impressed with James. McTominay also had a great game. Pereira was a bit selfish but clearly is a #10 and nothing else. We could have used Mata’s brain today.
Our new signings have been very good. Almost have a team now.

West Ham and Newcastle were utter embarrassments. That wasn’t. We still have major issues in the squad which almost certainly won’t be fixed by our inept owners so we are where we are.

Other than one defensive lapse from Rojo/Young and Rashford refusing to stay onside when James was breaking I thought we were excellent. The greatest team in the history of football, and we didn’t give them a sniff, while creating a few chances of our own. Why can’t we just enjoy that? Because I expect more. We're Manchester United, not Northern Ireland. |

I mean we weren’t very good? I’m not going to sit here and pretend we were just because we got a draw at HOME vs them. We played like a Stoke City today. We made it uncomfortable for them, we took our chance on a counter and then tried to hold on for 45 mins. Im more baffled by anyone saying that was an excellent performance. what? the goal for liverpool was their first chance in the 2nd half. which actually, wasnt even a chance, it was a big fuck up from our defender. this was not an excellent performance because we got a draw, this was an excellent performance (for 85min) because it simply was one. was that so hard to see? nevertheless, fucking gutted with the end result. If parking the bus for a half at home is seen as an excellent performance then we are truly lost |

The reason why this feels mostly underwhelming to me is that we played at home and more than anything, it seemed like we tried to stop them from playing their game than us trying to play our game.. but then again, what even is our game?
I think all things considered it was a very even game, with a bit of luck it's 2:0 before they score and we win it comfortably. Our defense is still not good enough for us to afford to take the foot off the gas at 1:0, it cost us 3-4 times this season already.
Also, Lindelof was a small hand-ball away from another potentially game-changing error - he's regressed to his 1st season form under Ole.

The contradictions in some posts on here are insane. The squad is shite and the owners are cunts but we're expected to completely go toe-to-toe from an attacking sense with the best side in the league for 90 minutes.
Better team by a mile in the first half. They were bound to be more involved in the game in the 2nd half but they still struggled and we still arguably looked the most dangerous and likely to score on the counter. Eventually gifted them the draw with a momentary lapse in concentration.
No complaints about anyone today besides anyone who fell asleep for the goal.

Liverpool 1 of the favourites to win the league we are struggling to make the top four we have just gone toe to toe with them and made them struggle, we ain't the title winning team of years gone by this is our current level. We played well today apart from the lapse at the end

Also, can we fire our scouting department out of a fucking cannon? The difference a player like Bruno Fernandes would make to us is enormous. We ran around like maniacs and put some serious shifts in but a lack of guile in the final 3rd is killing us.

Everyone knows the squad is shite. If Ole had gone all out attack and lost 4-0 Bestie would be the first to say hes naive and tactically not fit to manage at this level. If anything this was more like how Sir Alex used to approach certain games when the opposition possibly had a better side, and he wasnt bridging the gap Ole was in terms of quality today |
